A beautiful historic church. Well worth a visit. It was here before we were a country 1769.
This is a truly welcoming church, with a liberal atmosphere. The services are with or without music, rooted in the Episcopalian tradition. Coffee hour after the 10:00 service shines in hospitality with everyone on a first name basis.
I’m not a member, however I Recently attended a memorial service and Christine went above and beyond to assist my mother who struggles with mobility issues. Took her in elevator and escorted her outside to wait for me to get my car and waited until she was in my car safely.
Everyone was very nice which was why I gave it 2 stars. The pastor told stories that held my interest. However, I struggled with all the standing they expected during mass. The choir sounded ok, but too much of the service was sung and each song was sung way too slow for my liking (in addition to most of the songs requiring standing). I might consider joining if they advanced a bit w the times & generations.
