Cioffi's Deli & Pizza

Raviolis and Meatballs are bland and gross. Pizza is much better. Their tomato sauce is very good. Too bad they put it on frozen gross raviolis.

Cioffi’s is the real deal. Joey (the owner) was there when we stopped in and made us feel right at home with that classic Italian hospitality. He let our kids make their own pizzas, (still talking about it weeks later!) and we ate literally half the menu.

They’ve got everything—deli meats, Italian groceries, sandwiches, pizza, pasta—you name it. The food was spot on, super fresh, and full of flavor. Easy 5 stars. Cannot wait to go back!

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in the right place. The atmosphere is more than welcoming—it’s warm, laid-back, and filled with good energy. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, you instantly feel like you’re being taken care of.

Speaking of being taken care of—the customer service is top tier. Friendly faces, attentive staff, and genuine hospitality that makes you feel like more than just another order. They really make you feel at home here.

And now… the pizza. My God. Heavenly is an understatement. Perfectly baked crust with just the right crunch, rich and flavorful sauce, toppings that are fresh and generous, and cheese that stretches like a dream. Every bite hits. It’s that kind of pizza you don’t just eat—you experience.

If you’re in the area and haven’t tried this place yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Highly recommend. 10/10, no notes.

I was looking through Door Dash for a quick sandwich for lunch and this place had a high rating, was close, and the pictures looked appetizing. I ordered the Pappa Cioffis sandwich and a Manhattan espresso soda (love when I find a place that has these) the sandwich was delicious- not dry but not saturated with oil. I don’t know if they make their own rolls but they definitely earn points for delicious bread as well. I was impressed and next time will bypass door dash and order directly from them when I’m in need of a delicious work lunch. I look forward to trying the chicken parm.

This was my first time in a New Jersey deli and came highly recommended by my friend who is a local in the area. I’ll admit it was awkward with all the stations , and the religious imposition wasn’t appreciated , but to each their own.

Otherwise , the choices were limitless, this made it very difficult to choose something , and no one there really seemed interested in guiding , so me and partner just picked our favorite foods and went from there.

The street itself is lovely , and the deli is lovely , but here is where my review changed, the food…was not good.

The food was dry, not well seasoned , both me and my partners plate. It was pretty to look at, but just not that enjoyable to eat. I can’t tell if we ordered incorrectly , again, no guidance whatsoever , or if all their food is that bland.

Either way , it would be cool to explore more deli locations around that area, but I probably won’t come back to this one unless my local friend wants to.
