Very well maintained library. Clean and organized. Ample of parking space. Has a cafe for your dining needs. Beautifully planned with a sun room. Bedminster township did well on this. Taxes are well spent. They have a kids area on the basement with books and toys. See images for reference.
I want to take this time out and tell you about my very first visit to this library yesterday. I recently moved to Bedminster and where i reside there are a lot of trees and landscapers were coming to do a fall cleanup of the leaves. They use 5- 6 guys that use those gas blowers which are dangerous to my health (i have asthma). the carbon monoxide fumes (from the gas powered blower) makes me sick and my breathing shuts down. not only do they use there leaf blowers but they use (as many people know) the big "walking" leaf blower (which is the most sickening) to my health and affects me even more. That said, and the reason I'm mentioning all this is because i had an important interview yesterday and without not thinking about a library/going to a library (because i could NOT stay at home as the smell and carbon monoxide does come in the windows a bit) (we all have window drafts, and somehow it finds a way to seep in your windows) (it is what it is) "I wouldn't have had the interview" without going to this library. I was very nervous to do this and i wasnt sure if they had a private room for me for 25 minutes. I approached the front desk and asked the gentlemen named Wade if he had a area/room for me so that i can attend the interview via zoom. Wade told me yes. I was so relieved because the interview was planned and important to me. Then I met the librarian "Marie" and she went out of her way and accommodated so that I could utilize the private room. What this librarian did for me yesterday MEANT THE WORLD TO ME. words can NOT describe the gratitude and appreciation i had for her. I am new to the area and this library not only helped me out with an urgent matter but assured me that i am now residing in a great town. Marie & Wade went out of their way for me and I can't thank them enough im so very grateful and thankful
Sincerely
Laura
I forgot to mention and I want to add and express a little more about "Wade" as i said he was the first person i met and he represents the library by working at the front desk and with that said, he provided excellent service and has an awesome personality. This showed me how good this library is and how LUCKY this library is to have an employee like Wade!
thank you
Laura
It looks nice on the inside, and the staff is friendly
It’s nice having a little café area and another room with a fireplace – it’s a nice update they’ve made to the library
However, it isn’t the best town library that I’ve been to
The website can use an update
You can’t go too long without hearing loud conversations in the library
Nice and clean. It has a super cozy reading room, with big windows and comfortable chairs and desks. See pictures
Beautiful grounds and a large cozy array of stacks to browse. A few reading rooms and a cafe make this a lovely library to visit for studying, research, or recreation!
