    Very helpful and informative.
Brian was a gentleman and helped me
Develop the best frame and matting for my
Oversized pendant project ! There prices are reasonable compared to other frameworks.
    Thank you for your patience.
    Mike.

I am reviewing supplies that I got from Custom Picture Frames. My project was to reframe a white resin medallion in a 20” shadow box frame, purchased 5 years ago.
The medallion was attached to a beige paper and the frame was white. After painting the room where it hung, the existing piece looked very washed out. I envisioned switching the medallion to a more colorful frame and mat.
I took the frame apart and removed the medallion. Next stop was an online search for a framing company that sold shadow box frames. Custom Picture Frames had exactly what I needed. Before I ordered the supplies, I emailed them with detailed questions about the dimensions I should order and about how to attach the resin medallion to the new mat (I had no idea how to do that).
The replies I received from Annie in Customer Service were thorough, educational, and patient. I could not have put this project together without her help. I am thrilled with the result. In my opinion, the finished product is as good as if I had taken it to a framing shop.
I am posting 3 pictures: 1st, the original piece of art; 2nd, a picture of the newly framed piece; 3rd, a picture of the framed piece as it looks hung above my bedroom bureau.
I ordered the Jaylee shadow box frame in blue and the mat color was carnelian.
Custom Picture Frames is a superior company.

Truly a hidden gem of a website! AMAZING QUALITY and affordable prices. I’m so happy with my order i could cry. I was so worried about damage but it was packaged perfectly. 11/10 will buy from here again next time i need a pretty frame. They also had like every size frame which was convenient and wonderful.

Custom size worked out perfectly. The frame came so quickly that I hardly believed it. Customer service was really great, and it arrived in perfect condition. Thanks a lot. The frame selection is great. So many beautiful ornate frames

Cannot beat the value here, the frames are very good for the cost. So much so I decided to get 5 posters framed instead of just 1 or 2 (especially since at the time f my order shipping was $31 no matter how many I ordered, that is an amazing value for shipping). I did run into a few issues but the customer service is top notch and got me sorted out (thanks again for all your help Annie!).

Just wanted to also say if you are getting frames for posters be sure to make sure you have a decent amount of overlap (I'd suggest getting at minimum 1/4" all the way around, but preferably 1/2" or more). The default overlap is only 1/8", but you can manipulate this with the mats by shrinking the art size numbers so the opening of the mat is smaller and thus goes over the edges further (this helps a lot with getting them to lay flat but also if your poster is curved a but from being rolled it makes it far easier to get them in the frame and under the mats... it can also help cover up and edge issue/marks on the poster like creases or even tac holes). Oh and as for mats, I suggest double mats as it just looks so good and adds some depth to the art as well as keeps the art away from the plexiglass (and the mats are very reasonably priced as well).
