They did a great job! My alternator died the day before Thanksgiving. I had my car towed to this shop and they were able to fix it for me first thing Friday morning. They kept in contact with me throughout the day so I was well informed on everything that was going on and what it was going to cost. Fantastic customer service I will definitely be back.

I brought my car to D’S Garage to replace a broken AC compressor. The car sat there for almost three weeks before they even looked at it.

When they finally did, they told me the bolts holding the compressor were broken. Then they spent another two weeks trying to drill them out — and still didn’t fix anything.

They didn’t charge me, and I appreciate that, but the whole experience was a waste of time.

Later, I took the car to another mechanic who told me that those bolts don’t just break on their own — meaning the mechanic at D’s Garage probably broke them himself and then blamed the car. So either he made a mistake and didn’t admit it, or he flat out lied.

Either way, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Honest and trustworthy, have gone here a number of times for different issues and the prices are always very fair and work is done quickly. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic!

Last week I drove 1200 miles to Jersey in my 2010 Prius. When we hit Maryland and loud warbling sound began coming from the car. I thought it was a bad tire, but it wasn't. As we proceeded the sound got progressively louder. My friend in Jersey suggested that I take it to his mechanic, George at D&S Garage. I told George I was only in Jersey for a couple days and heading back to Florida. He had me bring the car in and drop it off in the morning. A few hours later he called and said it was all done and ready to go. It was a bad read wheel bearing. I never would have made it back to Florida without getting it replaced. Great job and it is now quiet as can be. Highly recommended.

Definitely the best mechanic I've ever been to. Very helpful, quick, and efficient. A lot of mechanics will and have tried to scam me and others, but George is honest and fair with prices.
