The reason I’m giving a 3 star is because we were welcomed and we enjoyed praise and worship and I love how involved in the community the church is. However, everything went downhill quickly when the pastor got up and started talking politics and telling people who to vote for and if they were against voting for that person, you needed therapy. Honestly, I do not believe the pastor should be endorsing anyone especially when he even stated they were the lesser of two evils. How can a pastor of a Christian church endorse someone who very openly endorses things that are against what the Bible teaches (supporting/encouraging and wanting to enforce LGBTQ doctrine in the schools)!? Whether that candidate was the best person for Governor or not, it should be left out of the church. Then, he went on to preach from his stomach and not from the Holy Ghost. What he preached did not go along with the sermon topic and really only threw out his opinions. I wanted to love this church for the community feel, but it was not for me or my family.
Come for visit and you may end up wanting to be a regular member. Love it!!
There is POWER in this Church. I went for the first time right before Christmas. It did not take long to realize that i found my church . Both the Senior Pastor and his son are AWESOME. The people reached out to me with love and made me feel welcome. The message is clear and relevant. I am a better man today because i joined Del Val. I am so very grateful. I have colorectal cancer with an Ostomy and there are times i am so weak and don't "feel" like coming plus i walk . When i step into that Sanctuary i feel The Power that dwells there. Thank you Del Val for being true Servants of Jesus Christ and the organizational values are extremely evident. I also am grateful for the brothers and sisters who have reached out to me . I am almost finished with my makeup membership classes and ready to be evaluated for ministry . I love my Del Val!!
This is a warm, inviting church with a great demographic mix. Young, old, as many males as females. Black, white, Hispanic and Asian. Service doesn't drag on unnecessarily. Open to everyone. Spirit filled and real honest.
If you're looking for a church that cares for you and your entire family this is your church! Pastor James Betner always shares an amazing fulfilling message! Highly recommend attending this wonderful family!!
