Great friendly cash only place - I agree with comments below that recently goat meat has lot of fat and trimmings vs high quality meat this place was known for

I recently visited this farm after trying to call a few times with no luck. I purchased goat meat, and the quality was very good — fresh, clean, and nicely portioned. The goat leg was $12 per pound, which is a bit higher than some places closer to me, but the freshness does make a noticeable difference.

Just a heads up — they are cash only, and using their ATM has a $2.50 fee, so it’s best to bring cash beforehand. The staff interaction was pretty neutral. Not unfriendly, just not particularly warm, though it was near the end of the day so that may have been a factor.

Overall, the meat quality was very good, so I would return, even if not regularly, since it’s a bit out of my way. I’ve attached photos of the goat meat both when purchased and after cleaning and seasoning.

    Thank you!

I bought goat meat on Saturday. It’s very, very good. Meat cuts are fatty, with fewer bones, and yummy.
At the same time, on Sunday, I bought goat meat at a nearby halal shop, which was dry, had a lot of bones, and was not good.

I would love to go back to Day Farm again :)

Note: Maybe they can sell in two batches, one with fatty parts and the other one without fatty parts, per customer preference, after reading old reviews,
but Dear Dey Farm, always serve fatty cuts, please. That’s your asset.

It was clean, and fast service. You must bring cash they don't take card. I bought chicken from there. They cleaned the chicken very well. I asked for approximately 5 to 6 lb chicken. Unfortunately I was not provide with any receipt. They did not scale it in front of me. I was pretty confused with that. Overall it's okay.
