We live in Manhattan but anytime we drive through Jersey we go well out of our way to stop here. They are the best donuts you’ll find anywhere in NY/NJ - I don’t know how there’s never a line out the door!
Simple mom and pop donut shop. Fluffy glazed donuts! Highly recommend! Owner even threw in some extra donut holes, how generous!
I’ve been looking for home made donuts that resemble the ones I grew up eating in SoCal, these aren’t quite there but close enough
No frills doughnut shop. Came later in the afternoon and the doughnuts were still amazing . The yeast and cake ones were both excellent. We will be back!!
Ok, so first off, the owner is so nice. He gave me some glazed donut holes for free with my mixed dozen.
Also, he told me that the donuts are ALL dairy and nut free. So, it's a huge win for my kid who loves donuts, but has a bunch of allergies.
Finally, I went at the end of the day. I only got the yeast donuts. They are fluffy and have a nice chew - like not overly soft. And despite it being the end of the day (5:30pm) donuts, they were still extremely delicious.
This is the last donut left. We went through them quickly!
Amazingly fresh local donuts, terrific prices, best service! Don't even think about going to DD, this place is soo much better. America should run on DK!
Update - they're still the best in the area.
