Dr. Iwuozo L. Obilo, MD

Dr Obilo is a good doctor. His office staff on the other hand is extremely rude in Wayne. They never remember to send my daughters prescriptions through or to do ANYTHING that is requested of them. I’ve been coming here for almost 9 years, I absolutely love Dr Obilo but I’ll be leaving soon because if his staff. I’ve made him aware MANY times of how incompetent and rude they are. The office is VERY CLEAN so whoever said that was telling a bold faced lie. If he has a better staff and THEY ALL communicated better he would be the best doctor around. He knows his stuff I have to admit that as well. Sad I’ll be leaving but I can no longer take the smart mouth, ignorance and unprofessional staff who have NO clue about how to run ab office!

My son is almost 9 and I’ve been coming here since he was a newborn. Dr. Obilo can seem stern at times but he means well. He’s extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about the children. Like any office, the front desk can get a little busy but I usually just follow up before they close if I’m waiting on a prescription. One weekend, I had to take my son to Urgent Care and then the ER, with none of the doctors giving me an answer, only to find out from Dr. Obilo on Monday that it was the amoxicillin my son was taking that he became allergic to. Out of 5-6 doctors, Dr. Obilo was the only one to figure it out, without hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical equipment. Due to situations like that, I’m able to look past the minor mishaps with front desk. I saw a review about cleanliness but I’ve never seen the office unclean. My OCD (especially my son’s) would not have allowed us to be there that long if it was. I definitely recommend.

The front desk people are friendly and nice. But unfortunately the doctor has some issues discussing why I am feeding my child formula milk. I can’t produce breast milk and quality is very low and it looked like he was mocking me for that especially as physician you don’t do that. Then he makes comments about diapers..how I shouldn’t make my child wear diapers and he shouldn’t be wasting so many diapers. That’s digusting..I am not coming back again and they didn’t even give me record of visit

My son is 4 and from the day he was born I’ve never had to wait I don’t know how anyone could have a bad experience here. The place is absolutely not dirty I’ve never seen it dirty in these 4 years. I don’t know how anyone can get on here and lie because of 1 bad experience. The service here is exceptional.
