Dr. Ghrewati has been a true blessing throughout my cancer treatment. From the very beginning, he took the time to explain my condition clearly and discuss every option with patience and compassion. He never rushed our visits — always making sure we understood the details, answering every question, and even encouraging my husband’s careful note-taking and research along the way.

His caring nature and positive attitude made such a difference during a very difficult time. I’ll never forget how his warm smile and encouraging words lifted my spirits — especially as we started receiving good news about how well the treatment was working. When I began this journey, my cancer was widespread; now it’s almost gone. I’m deeply grateful for his expertise, kindness, and support.

My wife has stage 4 breast cancer with metastasis to the lung and liver, and Dr. Ghrewati, or Dr. G as he likes to be called, is her oncologist. My wife and I believe that, in order to be considered the best of the best in the medical field, beyond the expertise and knowledge, the doctor must be kind, patient, and empathetic with their patients. And when we think of Dr. Ghrewati, we realize just how lucky we are to be treated by the best of the best. Dr. Ghrewati joined my wife’s team a little over a year ago, and since the day we met, he has been nothing short of an amazing physician and a truly remarkable person. Throughout her journey, my wife and I have seen numerous physicians and yet Dr. Ghrewati is one of the few, if not only, physicians who has shown us immense kindness, knowledge, and empathy from the start. One of our fondest memories with Dr. Ghrewati happened during my wife’s first appointment with him. When he walked into the room and introduced himself, we soon realized that he had taken the time to review my wife’s medical history, study her case, and learn about her condition. Though a small act, it meant the absolute world to us as it showed us that he saw us as more than another patient, but as people who endured more than what most could imagine. Since then, he has been available whenever my wife needed him. If you have any concerns or doubts as a patient, Dr. Ghrewati will take the time to sit with you and provide the answers you need, always with empathetic communication. This is a quality that you rarely see in doctors nowadays. We are eternally grateful to have such an incredible and compassionate physician as part of my wife’s journey!

Dr. Ghrewati is currently my oncologist at St. Joseph's hospital. I have been a cancer patient here for 4 1/2 years with stage 4 cancer, with a very touchy prognosis. Dr. Ghrewati is always very well informed of new treatments, and even with this late-stage cancer, has helped me enjoy life and keeps the side effects from multiple chemotherapies at a minimum so I can still function. He is warm and friendly, and has always made time to explain things to me in a way I can understand. For anyone looking for a great oncologist, Dr. Ghrewati is it.

Dr. Ghrewati is simply the best! I became a patient of his nine months ago and they have been some of the best months in recent memory. Dr. Ghrewati made me feel like family from my first appointment to my latest procedure. When I was researching bone marrow procedures I was worried about the procedure itself and the recovery. The procedure ended up being pain-free! And there was virtually no recovery period as I felt better than ever afterwards.

At one point, Dr. Ghrewati asked how I was doing. I remarked, “I’ll be better once the procedure is done”. His reply simply astonished me: “Well, I hope so because we were done seven minutes ago”! I couldn’t believe that he finished, let alone started, the procedure as I felt nothing in my back during or after. I simply can’t recommend him enough to anyone looking for an oncologist. He’s the best in the business and you’ll surely find out once you become his patient.

This is a great Doctor he is accredited to his profession. He takes his time with you. He doesn’t look down at you. I feel like he’s a real friend. He has a warmness to him. That makes you feel very comfortable. He takes as long as much time as you need. You never feel like you’re going to be pushed out. When you get an appointment from him, he usually within 15 to 20 minutes on time. I don’t spend much time there waiting. I bet other doctors that spent half A afternoon waiting just in the office. Anybody goes to this doctor is blessed and I thank you very much for his time. I actually look forward to seeing him.
