My name is Dr. Sam Gallucci and I am honored to have the opportunity to write a review on Dr. John Lipani. Dr. Lipani is certainly one of a kind who specializes in revision spine surgery. I was seeking second opinions on back surgery where fusion was recommended by other Neurosurgeons. I was seeking advice from the best, so I contacted Dr. Lipani. In my conversation with his Nurse Kathy, I was informed that he did not accept my insurance but was willing to review my MRI and other Xray’s. Keep in mind that I had reached out to other Neurosurgeons who did not take insurance and was told the fee would range from $375 to $500 for 1 office visit. Not the case with Dr. Lipani. He reviewed my X-rays, spoke with me on the phone for 20 minutes and gave me his recommendations. He then sent me a formal written report of his findings and recommendations that I could share. He certainly considers people above monetary gain. He performed this service free of charge and never once requested any payment. Dr. Lipani is an amazing human being, a top surgeon who specialize in revision spine surgery. I would recommend him without hesitation.

The care I received from Dr. Lipani and Kathy, his head nurse, is unlike any I have encountered in my entire life. Dr. Lipani at every visit takes the time to listen and then thoroughly explain how he can help you. He truly cares about his patients and wants to fix what is wrong. He is there for his patients before, during and after surgery. I have never met a doctor that is willing to be on call to talk to his patients the way Dr. Lipani does. He has truly been an angel and is so incredibly genuine. Kathy is another invaluable component of the office. She makes sure that you NEVER have to wait for anything. She literally takes care of everything single thing that you need from insurance, hospital, appointments, you name it - it's done. I could never thank them both enough for everything they have done for me. Dr. Lipani is a very special man and amazing doctor that anyone would be incredibly lucky to have.

Writhing in excruciating pain my husband was barely able to walk, sit or stand. A trip to the ER revealed 3 herniated discs and imminent surgery. Enter Princeton Neurological Surgery, P.C. Kathleen, the Chief Operating Officer and Registered Nurse answered the phone and treated me like I was family. She immediately took all my husband’s medical insurance information, scheduled an appointment in 6 days, assured me he will receive the utmost personalized care and a phone call from Dr. Lipani in 20 minutes. He called in 15 minutes and again 60 minutes later when he received his faxed reports. Upon arriving for his Friday afternoon appointment, Kathleen and Dr. Lipani immediately took him into an examination room. They displayed the calmest professionalism, kindness and compassion I have ever experienced anywhere. Yes anywhere. Dr. Lipani’s expertise and skilled training allowed him to complete his successful surgery without fusion. Other surgeons would not even attempt it. This practice provides treatment excellence, personalized care and two of the most professional caring individuals you will ever meet. Thank you Kathleen and Dr. Lipani for giving my husband his life back.

Dr. Lipani is hands down, the best neurosurgeon around. Thorough, has up to date knowledge and skills, he is super compassionate and strives to provide the absolute best care possible. Dr. Lipani takes all the time you need to address the issue. He's seen me in the office, taken my calls, and responded to my emails promptly and answers questions in a way that the average person can understand with ease. I've had two spinal surgeries and require a neck surgery due to a deformity I have, and there is no one else I would consider to do my surgery than Dr. Lipani. He visited every day during my hospital stay, including on a holiday, ensuring that I remained pain free and that my recovery was a breeze. Dr. Lipani's staff are just as great as he is. He's fantastic and the only neurosurgeon I'd let operate on me or my family. Highly recommend him.

Extraordinary surgeon! I was in excruciating pain before seeing Dr. Lipani. Another doctor had recommended laminectomy plus spinal fusion. With the help of Kathy Bonner, Dr. Lipani's compassionate and top notch office manager I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Lipani on short notice. Dr. Lipani even reviewed my radiology the first day I phoned the office while he was on a business trip. Kathy phoned me the same day and indicated that after reviewing my radiology, Dr. Lipani didn't think that spinal fusion was necessary! Great news!

My husband and I met with Dr. Lipani the next business day. He was very thorough and patient taking the time to explain everything and to answer all questions. His final diagnosis was made only after linking physiological examination responses with the computerized radiological images. This thorough approach demonstrates the level of care and certainty that Dr. Lipani uses in performing his work.

After a successful surgery, Dr. Lipani continued with his support striving for results beyond my expectations. I am now not only pain free but have also regained muscle functioning that I had lost due to long term nerve compression. Dr. Lipani has changed my life. He has my highest recommendation and heartfelt thanks.
