Dr. Ki S. Hwang

Went to Dr. Hwang early of 2023 with burning sensations in my thigh and lower back. After multiple pain management shots in my back he decided I needed a fusion which was done in September 2023. Needed to wear a back brace for 3 mths as well. After the surgery I still had the same pain. He then gave me meds for that which only made me sick. Months later still in pain, he said give it time. This June pain was so excruciating bad I could hardly walk! Could only take 10 steps at a time! Walking with a cane and home bound. Went back he took X-rays said hardware looked fine and he could no longer help me and I had to learn to live with the pain!!!! Told me it was my hip!!! So I went to my orthopedic who was very upset saying I did not need a hip! Then sent me to Dr. Ruoff who asked if I ever had a nerve test I have not. He sent me for one and the pain was from my back! I went for surgery a week ago and had a herniated disc impinging a nerve! I woke up and NO PAIN! I walked out of the hospital a day later. Walking with absolutely no pain!!!! Why did Dr. Hwang dismiss me? I am happy he did because my new Dr. Ruoff is extremly caring. I can finally walk again so thank you Dr Hwang for telling me you were done with me and couldn’t help.

My lower spine was so crooked my rib cage and pelvis were touching on the left side. Very complicated two-step procedure, but now my back is practically straight again. Dr. Hwang is personable, professional, caring, and clearly knows what he's doing. Highly recommended.

my surgery with dr hwang went very well. the sciatic pain i had experienced for over 2 yrs. went away immediately after surgery.i has been 6 months since the operation and there is no pain and all the gear put in my back has stayed in place. overall i couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

Dr.Hwang treated my mother for her low back pain, he was nothing short of amazing! Very informative and caring. We were worried she would need surgery but after talking to Dr.Hwang he made us feel at ease, he did not rush into anything and with physical therapy my mom is feeling fantastic! Highly recommend Dr.Hwang.
