Flanders is a great course within the Morris County system. Challenging 36 hole layout. Never an easy round, but also never punishing. A few holes force strategic decisioning, especially on Blue & White. Lots of tree lined fairways: so keeping drives in play is a must.
Course is FOR THE PUBLIC!, it’s always packed!. Always.. nice layout course.. nice fairways and greens.. tee boxes could use some work., (fairways has lots of divots, I assume because so many people play here it’s hard to maintain that aspect). Starter was a cool guy.. I only played 9, I’ll have to come back and check out the other 27 holes.
Morris County has the best public courses, first Birkshire and now Flanders. Flanders has two combinations of tees and 36 holes in total. Sadly no driving range. But great staff and spectacular views. They also have locker room open to everyone.
Flanders is one of my favorite courses in the area. Both courses have great layouts and are always kept in great shape! The staff over there is always super nice and helpful and the Tiki bar is a great place to grab a couple cocktails after the round. Overall, would recommend to anyone who wants to play a great round of golf!
My recent experience at Flanders Valley Golf Course was delightful, and I'm happy to leave a positive review! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my visit all the more enjoyable. Their warm attitude added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the course.
Speaking of the course, it was undeniably fun to play! The layout offered a great mix of challenges, and I appreciated the variety of holes that kept the game interesting. The scenery was also beautiful, making each swing even more enjoyable.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the course, I couldn't help but notice that a few of the holes left room for improvement, specifically due to some muddy conditions. These spots slightly impacted the playability and required a bit of extra caution.
Despite this minor setback, I had an overall fantastic time at Flanders Valley Golf Course, and I would definitely recommend it to fellow golfers seeking an enjoyable and engaging experience. With the friendly staff and the fun gameplay, it's a great spot to spend a day on the greens.
Keep up the good work, Flanders Valley Golf Course! I'll be looking forward to my next visit.
