Garden State Diner

We had an excellent experience here. The atmosphere was inviting, the food and drinks were great, and everything came out quickly and tasted fantastic. What made the night stand out was our server, Michael, who took amazing care of us. He was attentive without hovering, friendly, and really on point with timing. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in at the perfect moments. His professionalism and great attitude turned a good dinner into a great one. We will definitely be coming back and asking for Michael again. Highly recommend.

This chicken waffles is the best I ever had. The fried chicken is REAL chicken thigh (I was expecting frozen chicken tender/fingers, but it’s fresh). You can see the crispy skin (at the bottom, I did not photograph that), and it’s not greasy at all. It’s definitely house made. Waffle also tastes amazing and goes well with the chicken. If I had time I would like to personally greet the chef and tell them this chicken waffle is the best i ever had

Had a meal here after getting off an eight hour flight. I thought the atmosphere was cozy and the place was clean. Very efficient service. The food was really good. I don’t know if it’s because I’d just been in Europe for a week but this was a particularly tasty and enjoyable meal while I waited to board. Maybe I’m just ready to be back but this meal made me happy to be back in America. Recommend if you’re in terminal C.

The bagel with BEC was delicious!!! The Cuban with coleslaw also delicious!!!
The fruit parfait I would skip and it’s way overpriced.
The Nutella shake was good too.
The service was below par, once they take your order you never see your waitress again:(
They also add on a 3% employee retention to your tab not sure if it’s NJ thing or not.
Overall I would eat again but get it to go.
