“Love this charming, family-owned ice cream shop! Their variety of unique flavors, including sugar-free options, makes every visit a treat. Perfect spot to cool down during the summer! It has a long queue at night but worth the wait time!!
Fresh, local, quality ice cream. They’ve got so many fun and delicious flavors. I’d highly recommend the s’mores! Service can be slow at times, but they are dealing with lots of customers and are working hard. There’s some outdoor seating, but taking out and taking a nice walk around Cranbury is probably best. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area!

The price has been raised, but it’s still fairly nice and reasonable to be honest. They are so generous with their scoops. Gimme Smore is definitely my new all time favorite here. It’s so delicious with lots of chocolate chunks and marshmallow swirl. Definitely come back and will recommend here to anyone!

A notable mention is their 2023 addition, the "Seasalt Caramel Truffle." Imagine the rich taste of top-tier caramel popcorn, now transform that into an ice cream—pure bliss! And for those looking to lounge a bit, there are several seating options available.
However, remember they're a seasonal gem. As summer's end nears, ensure you get your Gil & Bert's fix before the wait for their next opening begins. It's an experience worth savoring every season!
This is our local go-to spot for ice cream.
Taste: there is a large variety of flavors and my family has generally loved every kind they've tried. The flavors are not always strong (e.g. the peach ice cream flavor could be stronger). The portions are always generous!
Service: the workers are always quick to help and are friendly and cheerful!
4/5 rating because they have a sign most of the times we go that indicate they are out of certain flavors (usually out of 7-12 flavors). One would assume those flavors would be restocked weekly but that is not the case.
