Quiet spot in the Pines after Wading Pines (commercial campground nearby) ends their DJ/band. I stayed on site 34. It's a little awkward to back onto the site if you follow the arrows on the map. It's a nice spot in the pines! Added bonus, the nearby concrete sawmill base, Alloway Monument & Washington Tavern/barn ruins.
Always a great time in the forest. Godfrey's bridge whether you're camping at one of the two campgrounds we're just taking a ride in the woods, it is a great spot to socialize and definitely swim
Pit toilets only. No picnic tables on the sites. Very primitive sort of camp but the sites are mostly very flat and nice. Seems clean. Bring everything you need with you.
Such an awesome place to camp!! We loved the fact that we could even winter camp there!! So many trails and sites to see!! Very private in the winter months. An all around wonderful place!! Love it
Nice site. Tons of shitters nearby and they were pretty clean as well. Plenty of room for whatever setup you may have. Batsto office is 13 miles from campsite and mandatory check in. Site patrolled by state Park Police. Wading river is a short walk from the sites. Only negative is the private campground (wading pines) that sits next to Godfrey bridge. They played awful music until about 11pm over speakers that could be heard 100s of yds away
