Hoffman's Marina

Absolutely recommend transient dockage here. Accommodating and friendly staff. Clean facilities. We had to stay a few extra days to service our boat and the marina staff helped us out with anything we needed. Check them out!

I can't say enough good things about Hoffman's marina. Moving a sailboat up the coast I developed a small(ish) but concerning leak which needed immediate attention. While still an hour out in the Atlantic I called Hoffman's just after closing and explained my situation. Mike did everything you could hope for in this situation. There was a crew waiting for me on the dock to immediately assess the situation, get me stabilized for the night, and prioritized my boat as the top priority first thing in the morning so that I was able to make it to my next destination in daylight. Beautiful marina close to the inlet. The channel in and out is pretty easy to navigate. Fuel dock has high flow and regular flow pumps gas and diesel.

We pulled up to get gas and when we were about to leave, the boat wouldn’t start. The Dock hand was super helpful and gave us great advice while we were diagnosing the issue and we were able to figure out that it just need a new batteries and we were able to grab them from the marine store there and we were able to get on our way very quickly. Great place. Definitely recommend.

Clean restrooms and shower, fuel dock, a couple of restaurants in walking distance, pool. Large 4 to 5 foot tide swings create a big current. Slack high tide is the best to arrive if you have choices. Can be difficult getting on and off a boat with a fixed dockat high or low tide. Beach is not in walking distance... nor is much anything. Boat races closed the inlet several times. The no wake zones are ignored. Active train within 200 feet.
