Healing At Hidden River Llc

Healing at Hidden River has been a Godsend. After months of trying to navigate my daughter's ED we finally landed in the hospital. From there, we went to Hidden River. My daughter is a preteen and I did not want to send her anywhere but we had no other choice. Hidden River offers a homelike atmosphere with other girls between 10-18 (I think they accept girls and young women from 8-20) for that portion of their program. The staff from the nurses, to the dietician, therapists and doctors all made my daughter feel loved and that she could succeed. My daughter was there for a total of 8 weeks. The hardest part for me was to trust the process. I like to control but I did learn to give it over to Hidden River to get the result we needed.

Upon discharge my daughter said to me, "As much as I did not want to be here I am so glad I came here. They have taught me so much but I don't ever want to come back." Thank you, Hidden River, Paola, Holly, Dr. Francisco, Dr. Minion, Nurses, Gladys and Sienna. We needed each one of you to make this process work. We will be forever grateful!

Ive been to quite a few different programs in my young adult life. Hidden River is the best by far, and I’ve, truly, done it all. Back in 2019, I was their first ever patient as a 19 year old. They completely helped me save my own life, with life changing therapeutic moments. Fast forward a few years I began to feel myself slip and on a whim I called Hidden River to learn they’d be opening a 21+ program in a few weeks. Being 24 this time and their first patient once again (after reopening), they helped me save my life once more, this time I’m hopeful it will be for good. Things weren’t perfect, but I’m more than happy with my decision not to give up. Eating disorders are the worst and my stay with helpful staff and hopeful supports at home helped me see all that could be without ED, more clearly this time. If you’re thinking about calling, I’d say do it. You may regret it at first, but after you start to feel proud of yourself for doing “what’s right” everything will change. This may have been my most difficult weeks of life thus far but I never felt alone. The therapists and dieticians were great. I began to lose hope in treatment facilities’ staff, but Hidden River proved me wrong. Thank you! A beautiful campus, but I hope to not step foot once more.

Hidden River is an extraordinary place to enter for your healing journey towards recovery from an eating disorder. My daughter has been battling an eating disorder for a while. Hidden River’s approach to healing has an excellent team of professionals who work with the client as well as the family. Alexis Land was my daughter’s therapist. I don’t have enough words to say how wonderful and caring she was toward my daughter and with our family. She got thru to her in ways that have not been done before. She’s kind and caring. She is everything you would want in a therapist. Kaley Maltez was her dietician and equally wonderful. She worked very closely with our daughter on what her dietary needs were without overwhelming her. We are very happy with the progress she has made from being there. We are hopeful this time it leads to full recovery.

My family is beyond grateful for finding Healing at Hidden River. They saved my daughter’s life! Having a teenage daughter recently diagnosed with an eating disorder was devastating for our family and we were not at all educated or prepared to tackle this extremely difficult endeavor. All of the staff at Hidden River were phenomenal. I am thankful to have met professionals with such expertise in this delicate and specific field of eating disorders. From the cleaning staff to the director, all of the staff were supportive and knowledgeable. Our therapist, Alexis Land, was excellent! Her individual and group family sessions truly helped my daughter and the rest of our family. The process was difficult but her guidance, patience, and expertise truly impacted and helped our family. Holly was her dietician and we are so grateful for her too. The nutritional education she shared and her unconditional support will always be appreciated. Lastly, all of the RA’s and nurses that spent endless hours supporting my daughter during her stay there. I am beyond grateful for their unconditional help. My daughter felt safe and understood every step of the way. Recovery is a long road but my daughter definitely learned life saving coping skills at Hidden River and has only positive things to say about her experience there. Furthermore, without any hesitation, I would recommend Healing at Hidden River for anyone in need of this specialized help.

My daughter just completed her second stay at Hidden River. We are very satisfied with her stay and the progress she has made. We found the staff to be competent and supportive. Recovery is very hard for the patient and the family. Our daughter's Hidden River treatment team: therapist, psychiatrist, and dietitian, were all working collaboratively with her, with us, and with her outpatient team. They saw her as a person beyond her eating disorder, and worked very hard to help her get back on her feet. I would highly recommend Hidden River to anyone who is struggling with an eating disorder.
