Innovate Salon Academy- Ewing

I received a Groupon as a gift to Innovate Salon in Ewing. I was introduced to my stylist, Najah, and immediately felt at ease. She was lovely and took so much time listening to me and my hair concerns. I take a lot of medication after spine surgery and my hair has thinned out a lot over time. She gave me some GOOD hair care tips and was SO patient! She suggested taking some weight off my hair and I had showed her some pics on my phone. We agreed to do layers and she suggested instead of highlights, we do lowlights. She did a great job with the lowlights. When she had any questions, she asked the senior beautician (teacher?) to check her, which I appreciated tremendously. Better to ask than wing it on a new client. She gave me a terrific haircut, color and blow-dry. We even discussed what size brush I should invest in and how to make my hair healthier. She suggested products and I left feeling pretty for the first time in a LONG time! I will return and bring my husband for some services, as well. I took a menu of all you have to offer and was quite impressed. Side note; the Ewing salon was really clean. I hope Najah isn't still there when I return for HER sake, but, selfishly, for MY sake I hope she IS still there! I deal with the public daily and now feel confident again. I highly recommend Innovate Salon Academy Ewing. The haircut specialist is amazing—he really listens and understands what kind of style I want. My haircut came out exactly the way I expected. He is skilled, friendly, and truly knows his work. One of the best haircuts I’ve had!

We had a nice experience at this salon. Maria was very good coloring my hair and the other professional made an incredible cut on my daughter's hair. Still learning, she listened well to her teacher.

Stumbled upon this place by chance, and Im so happy that I did. Both the students and their instructors are obviously very skilled. I always walk out with better cuts than Ive gotten anywhere else.

If you’ve never been to a student salon before, just be sure to carve at least two hours out of your day for your appointment. Depending on what you’re having done, it may take longer. The place is typically very busy, and the students need enough time to consult their teachers throughout the process, as they are still learning.

Emani and Ms. Dawn did an amazing job with my mother’s hair service. They provided exceptional feedback to our hair concerns and provided us tips on how to better care for our hair.
