I have been a patient of Dr. Hoppe's for many years. He is patient, kind, thorough, and up-to-date on the latest news in medicine. He listens and takes your thoughts into consideration, and he is totally non-judgmental -- unless you refer to Dr Google at which point he will chide you about believing everything "they" say on the internet (which is true enough). Back when the keto diet was just happening, I wanted to go on it. We had a good talk about it, we monitored it for 6 months and I saw a spike in my cholesterol levels which happens in some people with that diet. I backed off of that. Once, I forgot my medication for a chronic condition and I was across the state for my wedding! I sent a message through the portal and he was able to send a new prescription to a nearby pharmacy within hours, with a kind congratulations on my wedding. He is always super responsive through the portal, and I like being able to see my full test results and his notes on the portal too. Having a doctor who works with you and listens to you is worth long waits in the waiting room and busy phone lines to me. Besides, he always puts Disney movies on in the waiting room, which is nice.
I was also a patient of Dr. Tran's and I LOVE her. I had to leave her while I made my babies, but I will be back to her soon. I love her pragmatic, no-nonsense approach. I love her sense of humor and how kind she is. She makes an awkward situation really less awkward, and I only wish she could have also been my OB.
The phlebotomist always gets my blood on the first try, also worth mentioning, because I have difficult veins that are small and jump around. Once, at a different place, I had to get stuck 7 times in various places for them to get a vein. So this is no small feat.
I luckily found Dr. Hoppe through my obgyn, Dr. Tran-Hoppe. He is without a doubt one of the best primary care physicians I have encountered! He is very thorough and takes his time.. he actually cares about his patients. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming from the front desk to the phlebotomist, they are professionals.
To make a long story short, I went to an ENT thinking I have ear pain, I also had shoulder and neck pain so I went to see an orthopedic, none were able to fully listen to my pain points.
I finally decided to see Dr.Hoppe , he fully listened to what hurts me and he decided to do blood work and more further testing, he figured out what I have because he cares about his patients.
I will forever remember this and appreciate it.
On the other hand, his staff are very professional and work super hard.
If you’re looking for a primary care doctor, this is a place to be, Dr. Hoppe and his staff are absolutely amazing. Very professional.
He’s honest and get straight to the point he doesn’t hold back anything and will tell you exactly what it is to help you get to back on track. His goal is for me to have a perfect bill of health from the last time he see and for every visit. He listens and always gives you the best advice before pushing medication. He also keeps you updated with what routine check ups are importance and necessary for as I’m getting older, even though I don’t look my age 😂. I truly appreciated him and choosing him as my primary care has been the best decision my husband and I ever made..
