I hired Carlos to add stairs from first floor down to my basement. Unfortunately, I have to cancel the contract cause architect miscalculated and will make my room very small. I asked for refund since he had not done any labor and had not brought any material. However, he doesn't want to give it back to me even though The contract says labor and materials included on the price he gave. So I have to brought it to court. I WON the judgment and he was ordered to give the refund but he still ignores me even after giving him sometime to respond and do the refund. Don't use this guy. I will not recommend this guy. He cannot be trusted.
I have all the judgement order showing that I won and I am going to report him to consumer affairs.

John at JCL assessed the currently in place structural repairs at a home I am considering buying and really helped to set my mind at ease. He gave me his honest opinion, and although he could have recommended doing many thousands of dollars of termite repair work, he said doing so was not really necessary. He even advised me on how to tell if anything changes so that I know what to look for. Truly an honest and professional structural contractor.
