*** realized after writing this that others had a very similar experience. PLEASE find another office if you care about getting treatment in a timely manner..or at all..
She was nice. After waiting 3 weeks for a virtual appointment, she spoke to me for about 10-15 minutes and simply agreed that I had the disorder I was suspecting but -- immediately pushed medication. Im not mad at that because maybe she primarily prescribes drugs, but I thought id have much more of a consultation over a couple sessions and a more precise method of diagnosing rather than just my self reports in 10minutes. Mind you I picked this office because it says they were experienced in the area I was concerned about.
After ASKING for some type of evaluation, they simply sent a public ONLINE quiz with 10 questions for a " diagnosis" ---- a week and a half after asking and reminding her assistant for it... After sending my quiz results in... no respond and its been over 3 weeks.
The doctor also recommended a therapist in office (which i also had to remind her assistant about) and she ghosted me after saying she is waiting for her billing department to confirm if they take my insurance, 2 weeks ago.
Safe to say timeliness is not a priority for this office. If they're too busy to take on clients, just tell me that! I've already found a much better office. Extremely disappointed because I thought she was pretty nice.
