Jim, Mel, and the two ryans were MORE THAN HELPFUL.. I couldn’t figure out the thread size for my power washer and these guys spent 20 minutes doing EVERYTHING they could to help and “by George they got” thanks so much guys
My wife & I came home last night to no heat. Ken’s was already closed, so I went to Lowes by us. They along with the other big box stores no longer stock Thermocouples. Of course, when I got up this morning, I called Ken’s and they have an assortment of em. Thank you Ken’s Hardware for ALWAYS having what I need.
I've been a fan of hardware stores all my life (real one's, not Home Depot n the others). The employees at the big chain places rarely know what they are talking about, no matter how convincing they try to be.
This always leads to multiple return trips, multiple product returns, and wasted time and money. I went through this recently.
After a month of back and forth to multiple places and zero problems being resolved, I finally decided to go to Kens Hardware (20+ miles away).
Frank Kenny took the time and care to understand exactly what I needed. He then he took the time to customize a solution for me and gather the various parts needed. Afterwards he gave me instructions on how to make it all work. This place is the best.
No other hardware store will go to the lengths that Kens does, and certainly no big chain place has any employees with even a tenth of the knowledge needed to legitimately help the average customer coming through the door, no matter how much they act like they know what they're talking about.
