Fantastic local spot did not disappoint! The server was super attentive and kind to our 3 year old son. We had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, my husband had the sirloin steak a la siciliano (which he loved!), and I had the sliced steak medium rare. Both were cooked to perfection. My cosmo cocktail was one of the best I ever had. Our Apple pie for dessert and espresso martini were top notch! We’ll definitely return again!

Food was excellent!! These days it is a rare gem to come across reasonably priced food that is made from scratch, not micro-waved and a warm, inviting atmosphere. This is a family-run business and you can tell they really care about people and the quality of their food and drink. Such a friendly, cute, rustic vintage vibe!! Live music on weekends during peak season. And bonus - a parking lot!!

Nice, cozy spot, family restaurant with a nice bar. My daughter loved her ziti with meatball. My wife really enjoyed her chicken over pasta, and I was surprised by the quality of the prime rib king cut. The prime rib was fresh, tender, and juicy. It was a bit under seasoned, but it didn't matter at all. The quality of the meat was really impressive. There was no photo of dessert, but the apple crisp was warm and delicious.

This place is a really cool restaurant to visit with your family or to just go to the bar. I first came to the lamplighter with my friend to sit at the bar. We loved it! As it's not a normal tavern bar, you can totally see the history of the building and the bar is the perfect lighting, not too bright, not too dark. Music volume and TV volume was low enough that we could talk and not have to shout and the drinks are what you would expect at a local bar. The building is so cool. One of the hosts told us a little bit about where the original building was and the expansions and showed us the architecture which is fascinating to look at. I came back here with my family and we had dinner and it was perfect. The catering/ events room is so pretty and I'm looking forward to have a party of some sort at this location. I feel bad that the exterior of the building is not what it s glory used to be as evidenced by the photo I took of the photo they have hanging. This is still a really cool spot and is a local gym that I hope lasts for another hundred years.

Brian was great and the food was okay. Definitely a bit outdated but has a huge bar. Brian made a great martini and was very personable. I asked for sautéed shrimp to be added to my vodka pasta and it cost $10 for 4 shrimp.( shrimp came out broiled) French onion soup wasn’t bad but definitely would pass on the Caesar.
