Monmouth Park is a great place to spend an afternoon with family, friends or even by yourself. They have a BBQ/ Picnic area. You can bet on the horses have fun and maybe come home with more money than you went with. 😁
Great place to spend an afternoon with the family. Lots to do. Seating is free most days. Sea breezes moderate the temps. Prices for food and beverages are frozen in time. I had a good day except for the attendee who wanted cash for free seats.

Such a beautiful place to visit! Great for family or couples weekend !!! You can really sit enjoy the atmosphere in the grass area the have lunch or dinner. It’s also bring your OWN FOOD AND COOLER!! They have areas to Reserve if you have a large Group, Great way to save money and have an amazing trip.
Nice place! Picnic area is very convenient. You can bring your own cooler and food. You cannot bring your own stuff to the main area but if you get there early enough, you can have a picnic table and leave your coolers there while you go to the finish line. There are betting stands all over the arena And is very convenient. Will be back again!!
I had a blast coming here this past weekend as I am a complete novice when it comes to betting on horse racing.
To enter the fee is only $6 and the parking is free. The staff here is great and very patient while explaining to me how to place bets. For newbies like myself, I suggest getting a program as soon as you arrive. Any bets you make at the window is cash only. If you don't have cash, there have several ATMs.
This place is huge, so even if you don't place bets on the horses, you can still have a great time here. They usually have side events and plus they have plenty of places to eat and have drinks.
They also have a cute gift shop with T-Shirts, sweatshirts, stuffed animals, mugs, hats, etc. and everything is priced reasonably.
This is such a great place to visit for all ages, and I will definitely come back in the near future....hopefully by then I will be better at placing bets. 😃
