Went here on a June weekend afternoon. It was raining on the way there but by the time we reached there, the rain stopped completed and there was hardly anyone. Amazing and clean beach.

This is our go to beach when getting together with my sisters from up north. Beautiful, clean beach. Highly recommended.

Figured i would come to the beach to relax a little, on a Tuesday (07/29/2025). As we picked a calmer spot of the beach, we were told that we could not get in the water since there was no lifeguard on duty.......and the reason was because there were not enough lifeguards to work this day ( as it was shared by one of the "captains", in a very rude manner, with total lack of people skills and in a threatening tone, telling us that if we got in the water we would get fined and escorted out). Now people have to be cramped in a small area of the beach, with 4 lifeguards in ONE tower. If you are outside the area between flags, and you get in the water, you can get fined and escorted out. So basically, people have to set up their beach gear on top of each other and get in the water so close to each other that you are bound to annoy someone or hit someone by accident. I am sure that at $15 dollars per person to enter the beach, whomever is in charge , can surely do a better job at coordinating lifeguard coverage for the beach when a big crowd should be expected since it is 90+ degrees out, Summertime and most people are on vacation.. Having people packed in a small area just because of someone's lack of management skills, really makes, what was supposed to be a relaxed, enjoyable day, into a big regret for several beach goers and basically leave a bad impression of this beach.

Went on the day of the 4th of July. Arrived around the time the park was opening and there was a line already, so if you plan on going during the weekends, suggest arriving earlier. Overall, the beach is clean, and lifeguards are on duty in every section. Bathrooms are decent, and there are no private showers, but they do have changing rooms and have an outdoor shower.

Went here with a bunch of friends on a mini vacay. The beach is extremely clean, it was not overly crowded, everyone was respectful, and kids were well behaved. The water was quite rough and there are deep patches before the sandbars - not a negative thing just an fyi. All in all perfect day at the beach!
