Morris View Healthcare Center: Nursing Home In New Jersey

Wow, this facility really goes above and beyond for their residents! Ever since the new administration can in September it's really been a great facility to send your loves ones. I want to show appreciation to Jack, Josh, and Joseph in administration and Brielle from recreation for making the residents a active day.

This nursing home is really great! I've seen multiple people come in and come out with great results! The PT team is top of the line, the nurses are super caring the CNA'S are quite good and the overall atmosphere is positive.
The food has gotten much better ever since the building got a new owner(Jack) and a new cook (ART)

Our family is truly grateful and blessed to have found Morris View Nursing Home for our mom. From the moment you walk in, the place feels calm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. The entire staff — from the Director, Doctors, Nurses, Security, Front Desk, Food Service, and Housekeeping team — are all kind, professional, and genuinely caring. You can feel the compassion in the way they interact with residents and families.
When Mom first arrived, she was there for rehab, and the team made sure all her needs were met with great care and attention. Later, she transitioned to the nursing home side, and the same level of care continued. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully organized. The front desk staff always greets you with a smile and checks you in smoothly for your visit.
Morris View has wonderful activities that help residents stay engaged — from arts & crafts and bingo to sip-and-paint sessions. They even have a store where residents can buy little items, which my mom absolutely loves! She often calls me excited to share what she bought. There’s also a large common area where residents can mingle, watch TV, or share meals with others, creating a true sense of community.
At first, Mom was hesitant — as it was a big adjustment — but with time, care, and encouragement from the staff, she began to settle in. Now, she’s made friends, participates in activities, and truly enjoys being there. Her health has improved, including her blood work, and she feels comfortable, safe, and happy.
We’re also so impressed with how well Morris View looks after every aspect of her health. Mom now has new glasses, orthopedic shoes, and even went to the dentist — all things that have made her feel more comfortable and confident.
Communication is excellent — the staff always keeps us informed about any changes, medications, appointments, or updates. We also stay actively involved in her care, visiting often, taking her out, and even bringing her home on some weekends.
We can confidently say we made the right choice with Morris View Nursing Home. The 24/7 healthcare, professionalism, cleanliness, and warmth of everyone there have made a world of difference for our mom and our family.

The Staff at Morris View Rehab is very attentive and professional. I have to give a big recognition to the Rehab nurses, social works, physicians , psychiatrist and the nurse aides at Morris View, but especially to Asha George along with Mary, Gileen and Sharon, just to name a few, that help my mom in her rehab. With other rehab centers out there in Morris County, there is no comparison, we are impressed with Morris Views performance; we have encountered, dealt with and personally witnessed some under performing to really bad & horrible places, both facility and professional personnel that do not live up to the professional level the staff and facilities provided at Morris View. We genuinely had a great experience with them which left an excellent, lasting impression to us. It may not hold true to some, but not in our case. To the entire staff at Morris View, thank you very much for your help and expertise.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff treat mom like family. They’re patient, kind, and always take the time to talk and listen. Every time I visit, the place feels calm and caring. The food is honestly really good too, mom actually looks forward to mealtime, which says a lot!! It gives me so much peace knowing she safe, comfortable, and cared for by people who truly seem to love what they do (very rare!)
