All three of my children have been at Happy Time. The staff is absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. They feel like they become part of the family. We love Happy Time, from the homey, cozy classrooms to the farm life outside.
Happy Time has been a wonderfully caring and supportive second home for our son. Caroline and Sara are incredibly responsive and communicative, and the teachers are so loving and invested. Highly recommend!
Mount Airy Happytime is the best daycare because the staff works hard everyday to make sure every single child is safe, healthy and having fun while learning and developing. Everyone is considered family from the coworkers, parents/grandparents/aunts and uncles to the children theirselves. The children love going out back to visit the goats and chickens also. They do a lot of cool and fun activities throughout the year. They are very welcoming, understanding and friendly no matter the situation they work with you to find the best solutions for everyone involved. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for childcare because they accept 6 week olds and up, they even offer summer camp for the school age children.
The staff at the daycare work hard everyday to make sure the children are doing amazing. From constantly improving the classroom to going out of their way to create lessons tailored to each child's interest. Walking into happy time is a cozy warm hug for your children and those who work there. Not to mention they have animals in the back that excite the kids every morning. Mt. Happy Time should be called Mt. Overjoyed Time School.
The happiness and safety of my child runs in line with my ability to leave them anywhere. From day one (1), I have never had an issue leaving my child with the staff at Happy Time School. Every person that works there is warm, compassionate and caring. They work as a team to ensure that both the parents and child have a level of comfort that meets their family’s needs. My child has an amazing relationship with a couple of the staff members that go above and beyond the call of duty. Going out of their way, is their way.
The school itself is inviting and there is a charm that you do not see in the clinically sterile environments that make up many other daycare's (that we did not go with). To each there own, but I recommend this school to any family unit (biological, adoptive, foster) that wants a family friendly, always ready – it takes a village environment – for their child/children.
The owner and her staff have amazing skills, unique backgrounds and they just care. It is as simple as that.
They used to have two locations and when I asked the owner why she condensed her response helped make the decision for my family: “It got to the point where I didn’t know who all the parents were”. Its not just about the children, it is about the entire family.
If you have to work all day, it is an amazing thing to have your tiny human(s) returned to you with new skills and stories to share, it makes time at home quality.
