My Doula LLC

Jo was my Doula for my first birth and I couldn't have done it without her. After interviewing several doulas, I had the best connection with Jo. She is knowledgeable, organized, and laid back at the same time, a rare combination. She gave me and my husband tons of useful information during our prenatal visit. For the birth, I was induced and had extremely painful contractions. Jo helped me breathe through them and managed the pain. She also put me in different positions and massages my hips when the contractions came so they were more tolerable. And she was so great with the baby for our post partum visit. She showed me how to properly burp the baby and help me with latching. I highly recommend her as a doula.

It is very difficult to put into words how fortunate we were to have Jo as our doula. From the moment my wife met her for a consultation, there was no need to search elsewhere. Jo has a natural ability to make you feel comfortable and supported throughout your journey. As first time parents, there are so many questions and uncertainties we had, but having Jo was a huge relief. She actively listens to our needs and helps to find ways to support us. I also appreciate how much she valued the father's role in this pregnancy journey. I felt part of this journey and it added to the beauty of child birth. She is very easy to talk to and connect with and always available to answer questions, provide guidance or simply offer words of encouragement. Bringing our son into this world was a moment we will never forget and having Jo next to us only enhanced this feeling of gratitude and blessings. We will be sure to recommend her to anyone that is need of a doula!

Jo was one of the best parts of our birth experience! When we first met, I instantly felt like I connected with an old friend. She is kind, compassionate, and takes the time to listen openly and without judgement to your wants and needs. Jo is incredibly knowledgeable and is more than wiling to find out information for you as needed. Our labor and delivery started off smoothly. Jo came when we needed her and was very helpful in meeting all of our needs. Our family, Jo, and the L&D team were all laughing and having a great time! When things took a turn and panic set in for us, Jo was our strength. I honestly do not know how we would have gotten through the pain and an emergency c-section without her.  I am forever grateful for having found Jo and for what she brought to our experience.

Working with Jo was wonderful decision. My husband surprised me with her services late in my third trimester of my second pregnancy. She is so easy to get along with that after the first meeting that it felt like we had been friends for a long time. I really needed that during the last part of my pregnancy. It was really great having someone so supportive. Jo was great during the birth. She helped me try different positions when I was in pain and was there to discuss my different options. She advocated for me and made sure my birth wishes were made known to everyone. That was very important to me. I valued that Jo was there for us and helped us get through my birth. I highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Jo! Her professionalism and attention to detail was top notch. My wife was completely happy with her services and education. Jo went above and beyond for my family and we recommend her to anyone and everyone who is in search of a birth doula. Jo will forever be a part of our family.
