Parker at Somerset

Parker at Somerset was amazing in every single way when it came to the last 3 months of my dad’s life. He battled glioblastoma brain cancer for 2.5 years, and when he started showing signs of decline, he was transferred to Parker. They truly were incredible. Every single member of the Parker team made such a positive impact on our lives during those last few months. My dad was extremely well taken care of and they were very on top of his needs at all times. I’d recommend Parker to anyone that is in need of a nursing or subacute rehab facility. We will forever be grateful to them.

I would highly recommend! Private room and private bathroom inside the room, because I hate to share, lol, it’s like a hotel. Nice view of the woods seeing the deers pass by. Facility is clean, and very modern, and most of the staff is very helpful and friendly, now there are some few bad apples I wish would find another job, but I guess nothing is perfect. Social worker needs to be more focus. Food could be more better and healthier considering these are seniors. Therapist ST, OT, PT are very professional, honest and encouraging. Love the rehab gym. Fun events for residents to attend. But their biggest downfall is no one answers the phone at the front. You can find yourself calling for hours if anyone picks up at all.

Parker at Somerset I absolutely love you all. This Facility and its staff has been absolutely fantastic to my Dad. This place is absolutely beautiful well maintained, clean and always smell fresh. They are always having events for residents and families as well. The Communication is Top Notch ! I really love the staff I Thank you all for everything you have done for my Father they treated him better than just being a resident . He was treated like Family . I recently spent a month doing rehab for a broken hip/hip replacement at Parker at Somerset. The wonderful staff at Parker helped me get through one of the most painful and difficult experiences of my life with empathy and compassion. From the PT/OT staff to the nursing staff to the nice lady who handed out cookies and puzzles to the social worker and finance person -- everyone was kind, helpful and professional. The building was clean, pretty and filled with light. I just can't thank them enough for their attentive care to both my medical and my emotional needs.

Parker At Somerset, Adult Day Care Program, is full of exceptional staff members. From the Director all of the way to the bus driver. They just don’t go to work…they do it, every day, with dedication, compassion, understanding clients need and supporting their family members ! They know how challenging is to make, someone living with dementia, comfortable and safe and they do it ! My family member was, always, welcomed by a charming staff member, morning after morning. They were an amazing resource to all of us! Unfortunately, my family member, needed to move on to a nursing home. But, we, for ever, will be grateful to have them in our lives ! Thank you!
