My wife and I have done several bike tours -- from France to NJ and many places in between -- and the Vineyard & Views Tour absolutely lived up!
Andy was great about reaching out to us before the tour, going over the logistics, and letting us know what to expect. On the day of the tour, every detail was taken care of, from water bottles to snacks to a blanket to sit on at the vineyard. Andy was pleasant and knowledgeable, and struck the right balance between narration and letting us enjoy the ride. He also let us set some of the agenda based on our preferences, and took lots of photos.
The ride itself was lovely. We couldn't have asked for a better early-fall day for a leisurely ride through one of the most scenic and beautiful parts of NJ. Our lunch just over the pedestrian bridge in PA and the vineyard back on the NJ side were the perfect way to break it up. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a combo of active and relaxing activities to spend an afternoon!
Natalie did a great job connecting us with a new guide when she became ill, and Andy arranged a great tour, picking it up at the last minute and making arrangements over the holiday. He tailored the trip to our goals and the very hot conditions of the July 4th weekend. We rode past several farms, had nice stops at Blue Moon and the Watershed Institute, and a great lunch at the end. He offered us choices throughout to keep the day exactly to our liking and was great about taking pictures as we went. He also had great advice for other good rides and places to visit so that my husband and I can keep up with our bike riding dates. I expect we will plan some future tours as well.
Our bike tour, led by Andy and Natalie, was an absolute blast! Our group of 14 came together to celebrate my nieces 30th birthday - age range of 14 years to well…. 60 something! The tour was a perfect pace of riding, stopping to enjoy views along the Delaware and eating tasty treats at local markets. I highly recommend NJ Bike Tours for a special celebration or just a scenic day of riding and making memories!
We had a great experience with NJ Bike tours. Andy was our guide and he was very flexible in terms of when to meet and what we wanted to do. It was obvious he wanted this to be "our" tour. We biked out to the winery, enjoyed some refreshments and made our way back. Along the way we stopped at some picturesque sites and just took our time. This was the first time we were on a tour and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it if you're looking for a lovely day in the country.
We had a BLAST!! We had a group of three couples on one of the Vineyard Tours! I was a bit apprehensive as I probably had not been on a bike in 5 years, but Jake made the tour so much fun and knew just when we’d need a break! The scenery was gorgeous. Great phototaking opportunities and Jake provided full details of the history of the area, farming and other insights during the tour, Jake was patient, thoughtful and well-prepared with water, ice and snacks! I highly recommend NJ bike tours and can’t wait to go another one with our kids!
