Nomad RV's

We had looked and reviewed many class B builders and narrowed our list to three, NomadRV s one of them. Previously I had my house custom build by a gifted builder who saved me a tone of money and Steven was the man for our RV. Very knowledgeable, honest, provided options better than we could have come up with. Our van is a five star very comfortable mobile home and we had a 40' motorhome before that. We opted for extended sprinter with wet bath, full kitchen, fixed bed, ample storage and wardrobe closet and plenty of air circulation with a hatch, maxfan and AC unit.
We are currently working on our bucket list in AZ/UT area and the extra battery and charging options work very well.
I'd recommend Steven and his highly capable team for solid/functional/beautiful work that is not going to cost you an arm and a leg. His after sale support is also highly appreciated

it is a almost a year past now and we put many miles on this rig (over 20K) and love the sprinter and the build. We recently revisited Nomad RV for a few warranty issues that needed their professional attention. We met Steven 7 am and he put 3-4 of his employees on different parts of upgrading, fixing and also guiding us in better usage of the capabilities. we were done by early afternoon, quite happy with how it went. We also like the new rigs he is manufacturing, specially Euphoria XL. These were not available when we were working on our sprinter design!

If you're somewhat of an adventurer, a digital nomad, or simply someone who intends on doing extended travel enjoying nature and the outdoor lifestyle as a solo traveler, a couple, an off-road enthusiast, or a family, I highly recommend Nomad RVs to convert your dream camper van-conversion into a reality.

First and foremost, I truly believe that I am fortunate to have found Steve, owner of Nomad RV's and his team of competent workers, especially after almost given up on the idea of a custom van build conversion.

I had researched and contacted several van conversion companies, and not one single company compared to Nomad RVs in terms of work ethic, communication, professionalism, knowledge, attention to detail, honesty, personality, passion, compassion and customer satisfaction.

Steve has an incredible and interesting background as he combines his expertise, experience, knowledge and talent, as a custom home builder to create and build a custom robust home on wheels. He has a superior talent for the customization process as he utilizes his expert carpenter skills, and his passion for off-roading, camping and van life, clearly reflected and implemented in his custom van builds.

The construction is robust, solid and the quality of materials and components are superior and best in class! In fact, all of the components and materials in my RVIA certified Class B RV Sprinter van are of marine and RV grade, and even my stainless-steel smart plug is a marine grade component used on yates and sailboats.

My Sprinter van is an RVIA certified Class B RV with the RV Industry Association Seal on the inside of my sliding door.

I had a design/layout in mind, I wanted to achieve the Scandi Nordic Rustic design with an open layout, one that is certainly not claustrophobic especially in a 144" wheelbase. Steve obviously transformed my Sprinter into an awesome robust custom home on wheels and gave me exactly what I had hoped for!

The materials and components used throughout the build are of superior quality. High quality raw materials, powerful electrical (Battleborn lithium batteries), Victron components, layout (bamboo counter tops, bamboo dual Lagun tabletops, hickory on doors and drawers with black nylon flush mount slam latches) and cedar on ceiling and walls. Attention to detail with regard to plumbing and other items such as: 30-gallon freshwater tank, filter system for water, Duoetto 12V electric water heater, one-piece waterproof marine grade Lonseal flooring, Lonseal Moonwalk on mechanical boxes, are just a few of the best-in-class components incorporated in my build.

In conclusion, my experience collaborating with Steve (Nomad RVs) on my van conversion project, has been spectacular, awesome and truly amazing! I even got to test out the Espar D2S2 diesel heater as it was the coldest weather of the season when I picked up my van just 2 weeks ago. Steve allowed me to camp overnight in the van so that I didn't have to drive down and back on the same day. This gave me the opportunity to test the build/equipment, especially as temperatures plummeted to 5 degrees. I really tested the Espar D2S2 heater! I was toasty warm inside the van the entire night. Steve set me up with redundancy just in case the Espar heater went on the fritz. He even picked me up in his pickup truck at the Avis car rental agency.

Well, as you can see, Steve is certainly a compassionate man, what he does, he does exceedingly well with lots of experience, expertise, and passion! He is a professional and an awesome craftsman with a fine sense of humor. I would highly recommend Nomad RVs to anyone considering a custom van build conversion.

My experience with Steve and Nomad RV’s was excellent! He was wonderful to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He took so much time to listen and share ideas with me. I had no idea what I was doing and a vague idea of what I wanted. He was fabulous, I love my SprinterVan so much. He made it a piece of art and he added everything that was important to me. We built it together. He was so patient with me and is a skilled builder. I could not recommend him enough! He is professional, kind, and trustworthy. I’ve put 5000 miles on it and haven’t had a problem. This is what I chose to do with my retirement and I’m having the time of my life. He did a brilliant job. I’m in heaven, just traveling around the country with my dog. I think Choosing Steve and Nomad RV was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I am a happy and satisfied customer. If you’re looking for someone to build you a home on wheels, he is the man for you! I can’t say enough about This company. And I can’t imagine anyone could have done better. I love it and thank you, Steve.

Wow! What can I say?! From start to finish I have been nothing but impressed with Steve and the work of Nomad RVs. I randomly found Nomad RVs when I started to look at camper van options. I instantly loved the style that Steve and his team created. I felt like it was a classic and chic look and it totally spoke to me. Steve was such a great communicator. He looked over my specs for my build with Mercedes and saved me over $2000 on things in the Mercedes building options that I didn’t need. When I finally received the van from Mercedes, Steve communicated during the building process so well that I felt like I was there. He constantly sent videos and updates and asked questions about what I wanted in the van and didn’t. The result was my dream van :) thank you so much Steve and Nomad RVs!!! I 10000% suggest this company for your camper van dreams.

Worked with Steve to upgrade my van. He was great to work with, thorough, responsive and efficient. Worth the eight hour round trip to know the work was done well. I didn’t even shop him because I trust him and value workmanship.
