I work at the arc of ocean county and we take care of disabled adults. Master larry opened the school Early to teach a class and went out of his way to give us the best class! Absolutely loved the class thank you again
I am honored to call Master Larry Trainor my Shihan, and Ocean County Martial Arts my home Dojo...it all started over 20 years ago with my young son. After watching the children's classes for a few years and watching my son grow and develop mentally as well as physical strong, in addition to learning respect for others, I was encouraged to start training myself, even though I was well into middle age. Shihan Trainor's patience, encouragement, knowledge of the art and deep concern for each and every one of his students is admirable. Ocean County Martial Arts Studio is a wonderful Dojo for all adults and well as children, whether they have prior training or not. I owe a world of gratitude to Shihan Trainor for sharing his wealth of knowledge and leading me and my son down a path of internal integrity and external strength.
I have been training here since I was 8! It is amazing! Great for children and adults!! Everyone matters and is included and lots of one on one time which is a plus! Larry train or trained me to be the best! I am forever grateful for such teaching and most of all you’re treated like family. I highly reccomend!
I have known Larry Trainor and his son for years, all 3 of my children have trained with him and continue to stay in touch. Ocean county Martial arts studio was a place I felt very comfortable dropping off my kids, they learned respect for other children, discipline and just becoming a better person as well as learning how to defend themselves and to be more aware of their surroundings. This is not a business for Larry this is what he truly loves to do and puts his whole heart into the kids.

I trained with Sensei Larry Trainor close to 35 years ago. When my kids were old enough I brought them there too. Even to this day we remain friends. The techniques I learned kept me safe through my 30 year law enforcement career. I couldn't recommend anyone more than OC Martial Arts Studio and Larry Trainor.
