Located on the corner of Washington Avenue and Grant Avenue is a locally owned pizzeria.
The interior has a casual style atmosphere adorned with wall art including photos of the Lackawanna Train Station, a local Street in Dumont and some inspirational messages.
Garlic knots:
These hot, doughy spongy knots of dough will melt in your mouth.
Also included is a side of marinara sauce, which you can never get enough of.
Spaghetti & Meatballs:
This steaming hot plate comes with two gigantic meatballs.
I can virtually guarantee you will be satisfied having the pasta with the homemade tomato sauce, but if you really want to add flavo, generously sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of the spaghetti. The more the merrier!
Chicken Parmesan:
As an avid fan of the Facebook group page, Jersey Chicken Parm Ratings, I can never visit a pizzeria without trying one of my favorite Italian entrees.
This chicken parmesan did not disappoint; also included is a side of penne pasta.
The thin cutlet had a crispy texture and the mozzarella cheese had a nice char. I loved the touch of oregano at the top.
As a bonus, both entrees are eligible for a $3 discount if you purchase them every Tuesday through Thursday.
I also decided to explore a couple of the gourmet slices.
White Slice:
This gem of a slice is topped with mozzarella cheese, olive oil, parmesan cheese, and heaping mounds of ricotta cheese.
Your taste buds will be pleased when you try all that cheese!
Chicken Bacon Ranch:
This specialty pizza has the best of three worlds.
It is topped with bacon, chunks of chicken and drizzled with ranch dressing.
I’m usually not a fan of multiple toppings on a pie, but this divine combination is an exception.
For a small casual spot, I was more than satisfied and it was a pleasure being served by Owner Manny and his staff.

Best pizza I’ve tried!!! Their dough is on the thinner side, which I prefer! Very fresh! I’ve been ordering the past 2 months and will keep ordering from here! The workers/owner are also really kind!
I’ve lived in Dumont all my life and I’ve seen three pizzerias in this location. First it was Giovanni’s Pizza, then Uptown Pizza II, and finally Original Best Pizza and let me tell you, the place lives up to the name. This is my family’s new go to pizza joint!

I was curious about this place so I went in near closing time to try it ... I was really impressed! this place has a pretty bold name after all but I think there might be some relative stake to that claim.
The pizza tasted great, I got a plain slice for me and a grandma slice for my mom. I'm looking forward to getting more in the future.
they were doing a promo for their grand opening and they gave me fancy chocolates :D and they were quite polite
