The atmosphere is pretty and decorated pretty for Christmas. They bring out a nice bread with spicy oil that was good. We opted for chicken Milanese and grilled chicken with spicy rigatoni that was delicious! The staff was nice and polite. We just feel they could be more attentive like we requested paper napkins and the water went empty for a long time. Definitely will visit again.
We had dinner tonight...5 stars all the way around! Enjoyed chicken parmesan, pappardell bolognese and a side of meatballs. Everything was so delicious! The restaurant is decorated for the holidays and the ambiance is very cozy. The staff were warm.and welcoming...Denice, Olivia and Emma all made our visit a really nice night.
Patricia’s Downtown in Toms River absolutely deserves a 10 out of 10 across the board—food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding.
We started with the spicy shrimp appetizer, which was packed with flavor and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For our entrees, we had the chicken parm—crispy, tender, and generously portioned—and the lobster pasta, which was rich, creamy, and loaded with lobster. Every bite was incredible.
The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly paced. The atmosphere is cozy yet upscale, making it a great spot for a special night out or a relaxing dinner with friends.
Compliments to the chef for a truly memorable meal—we'll definitely be back!
First, the service was excellent, friendly and attentive. The place was not crowded on a Monday night. We were looking forward to the appetizers, and we were not disappointed. All appetizers (Burrata and Octopus) and main dishes were excellent with the exception of the lobster pasta. The chicken with vodka sauce over penne was very good as expected from a good restaurant (our second time here). The lobster pasta was not a successful dish even though the sauce and pasta tasted good. It was a crowded plate heaping with spaghetti, a whole lobster with overcooked small tail and claws too hot to handle. This dish needs to be better constructed and supplemented with a few shrimp and scallops. There are many other dishes we look forward to trying.
