Had the mile high meatloaf good eats

This is by far one of the most pleasant and elegant bars that I have ever been through due to its calm and enticing atmosphere. I had traveled to this bar to support family and their musical endeavors.

The facility was clean, then music that was being played was low in volume so conversation may still persue, which is much appreciated. Loudness amd obnoxiousness immediately dissuades me.

Moving forward with their drink menu. They have a plethora of whiskey that is available, which was quite impressive. Additionally the staff is also knowledgeable of the menu both drink and food, which is always a good sign.

Unfortunately their food menu needs improvement has far as quantity and quality. The options are brief and also a little pricey. Our waiter / waitress had dropped by to introduce themselves to the new arrivals to our party, but had never come back to take our order. And we were there for well over an hour.

However we did order a thin (very thin) crust pizza, but it was delicious and topped with fresh basil.

Overall a good recommendation for a common environment after a long days at work.

September 13th, 2025, 2nd visit and now called The Riverside Tavern

Kit and I decided to get dinner here.

We tried their Fried Pickle Fries with a creamy Horseradish Sauce, Kit chose a Shrimp & Avocado Salad with a Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing and I had a Cheese Steak with Shoe String French Fries.

Everything was delicious...

First visit over 3 year's ago and it was called Mason's Bar & Grill...

For yesterday's Dinner, Kit and I stopped by here after seeing a posting by a Friend - Neighbor, Roselyn Davis and here Husband, Richard who had eaten here over the weekend.

This place used to be a Convenience Store with an attached Pizzeria called "Amore" and after renovations reopened as Mason's Bar, Grill & Spirit's about a month ago.

For our dinner, we enjoyed, some Pretzel Bites withe Cheddar Cheese Dip, Kit chose the Meatball Parm Sandwich with Potato Chips and I had a 12" Pepperoni Bar Pie.

The pizza had a very thin, crunchy crust, covered by tasty sauce, cheese and pepperoni...

Kit's sandwich had very large meatballs, delicious sauce and fabulous cheese topping it on a soft and toasted roll.

I had the Mason Rita alcoholic drink that complimented the pizza well...

Great food , great service and a very cool vibe. Nice local hometown place to be. Owners and staff are very attentive and the cocktail menu is creative and delicious!! I’ve been there twice and everything has been top notch…. BEST fried green tomatoes, jambalaya is UNREAL, even the bar pies are awesome! Definitely my new favorite place to be!!! Congrats and MANY YEARS of success!!
