Rockaway Pharmacy & Compounding Centers

My 4-month-old son has a rare heart condition and takes a compounded medication three times a day. After a miscommunication at our regular pharmacy in Bergen County, we were about to be left without his medication for the entire weekend—since they’re closed on Saturday and Sunday.

I called nearly every compounding pharmacy in New Jersey trying to find someone who could help. Most either don’t compound on weekends, or couldn’t do it on such short notice. Thank God I found Rockaway Pharmacy. Not only were they open and compounding on a Saturday, but they were able to prepare my son’s medication in less than an hour.

Greg at Rockaway Pharmacy was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding. He even went above and beyond by calling me two days later to check in and make sure my son was doing okay. That kind of care is rare.

I cannot thank them enough. This is a true hometown pharmacy that genuinely cares about their patients and the health of the community. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow! This place is amazing! Greg was so clutch for us! We called many pharmacies and were let down endlessly. Until we got a hold of Greg and he saved the day. We needed a special medication for our new born baby and needed it asap to get our baby home. Somehow, someway Greg made it happen and we could not be more appreciative of his responsiveness and kind heart. He was a breath of fresh air to deal with. He even followed up with us the next day to see how we were all doing! Really could not be more happy with the overall experience. I highly highly recommend!

I had to pick up a compound prescription for my mother today, and this was the pharmacy that it was called into. The pharmacist, Greg, was super helpful over the phone when speaking with him from the doctor’s office… But when I arrived to pick up the prescription, he was even more helpful. He was very thorough and explaining the medicine and how to use, etc. which I appreciated very much. With so many people in a hurry to push you out the door, it was refreshing to come across someone who actually really cares not only about their job, but the people they are helping. Thanks Greg! The owner Greg is a very friendly and competent guy who is passionate about what he does. He will work with you on price and often times will come out cheaper than online pricing. Many of the medications I give my dogs can only be found as brand names online, but with Greg compounding them on site they are considerably cheaper.

Greg & his staff at Rockaway Pharmacy & Compounding are phenomenal! They always answer the phone and fill my pet’s prescriptions with ease & swiftness. They are all caring, knowledgeable and always willing to help answer any questions. You definitely feel a sense of relief when calling in a prescription, knowing it will be filled in a timely fashion.
