Simone is an absolute angel. We had interviewed a bunch of doulas and hadn't found anyone that we really clicked with. This was our first pregnancy/birth so we really didn't know what to expect with a lot of things. When we talked with Simone we immediately felt at ease. One thing we especially liked (among a ton of things!) was how direct and confident she is. She listened well, answered all of our questions and provided tangible 'to-dos'/direction for us to focus our energy on which we appreciated. Simone has truly mastered the art of grounding others, empowering new parents to trust themselves and overall fostering immense positivity and safety amidst the crazy journey that pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding and postpartum are. She made us feel so informed and confident during the entire process. Since the birth of our daughter, we have stopped and reflected many times saying that we just can't imagine doing all of this without Simone there. My mom was at our labor/birth and it was the first time she met Simone. She was blown away by Simone's calming presence, her expertise and ability to make you feel so safe and loved. I can honestly say I never once felt fear or panic during labor because of her. She played such an integral part in our peaceful, calm, beautiful and extremely rewarding labor/birth experience. She helped center me, uplift and guide my husband on his role and was constantly reminding us that we were doing a great job and everything was progressing as it should. Everyone should have a Simone! She has forever changed our lives and our family could not be more grateful.

I had the pleasure of working with Simone throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. The service she provides is one of a kind. Her knowledge, temperance and accessibility created an amazing birthing experience. As a first time mom I had no idea of what to expect, through her guidance and evidence based research I was prepared and supported throughout my pregnancy. I am so grateful for Simone’s support during pregnancy and postpartum. I decided to work with Simone for my second pregnancy. She helped me have a strong postpartum plan. She listened to what was important to me in finding a healthcare provider and a hospital that supported my birth plan. When I had questions or concerns durning my pregnancy she provided evidence based resources. In a time that we are flooded with information overload her resources were so helpful. My labor and delivery ended with an emergency surgery. After surgery Simone tended to me, my baby and my husband. Giving me permission to rest and reassurance that she was there for us. Having her there post op was everything that myself and family needed. Postpartum she came over to again support me. Simone has been such a support for breastfeeding. After not being able to breastfeed my first I am able to breastfeed my second baby. I am eternally grateful for Simone and would work with her again.

Simone is an incredibly caring, helpful resource during pregnancy, childbirth & postpartum phases of life. With an overwhelming amount of information online, she hones in on evidence-based sources to help guide decisions. When it became clear a c-section was medically necessary for my breech baby, she continued to be supportive of our unique, individual journey. I also felt comfortable & respected with breastfeeding decisions. She pivots with the client's needs, understanding each has a different path. Simone played an instrumental role as I stepped into motherhood; I know she's just a text away if I have a question about my infant son. We'll keep her in mind if we further expand our family someday.

Words can’t express how grateful I am to Simone for helping me through my pregnancy journey and supporting me through my scheduled c section. She was always available to chat through my concerns. I was lucky to have her in the OR with me and my husband that day and she was a calm and gentle presence. She even took beautiful photos that I wouldn’t have otherwise had. She helped me in recovery and at home to successfully breastfeed my second born after my first born was not able to latch properly. Her support has allowed me to continue and I’m currently still breastfeeding at 6 weeks PP and going to continue as long as I can! I highly recommend Simone as a doula, even if you need a c section or are a second time mom! I wish I had her with my first!
