Fantastic township library
1) their used book store (run my the “Friends of the Library”) has a lot of books for all ages. always a joy to find books for my kid
2) great resources and facilities. Bathrooms outdated but decent and clean.
My biggest gripe is that they recently moved the children’s section from an enclosed area of the library to the far end of the library which is open— meaning the laughter and play and talking and etc isn’t isolated to an enclosed room but spills over to the whole library.
In all my years here, I cant believe someone would approve this decision. This decision alone has completely transformed the library experience for the worst
It's a great place to hang out with the kids with lots of craft activities! There are also movie events and they even offer free snacks! Thank you to all the staff for all their hard work and making this place so wonderful!
The library has a bunch of kids activities, which was great! However, it was pretty warm (I understand it IS super hot out, but something to consider if you're heat sensitive), and there is no wall between the kids and adults sections so I felt bad letting my kids play freely. It also could just have been timing, but there was no children's librarian and the poor adult librarian seemed a little flustered when we and another family were asking questions about the summer reading program.
Pretty good size library. Has computers. Has printers. 10c for black and white and 40c for colored. See images for reference.
This library is huge and the staff are very friendly. Lots of options for kids, teens and adults. They provide printing, fax and photocopy services. Getting a library card was easy and it took 2 mins for me. It's a quiet place so I definitely suggest this place for spending a good time reading books. Book and disc rentals are also provided at this library.
