Serene and pretty, perfect for dogwalking or clocking in your daily step count. Clean, tidy and naturally lush. Lovely show jumping nearby to spot champions on their course. Great park any season. Update: great cross country skiing along sylvan lake

Easy trail and everything is so open. The pathway is very straightforward and not pump at all, so I really enjoy my walk here. It would be perfect if there’re more trees. It has a quite spacious parking lot as well.

Great park providing immersion into a calm and picturesque environment.

It's relatively new, being Skillman's newest park. It's quite big, about 250 acres. The park offers a 2.25-mile paved loop trail. Several parking lots are available. There are several benches distanced along the paved trail; some of them feature memorial plaques. In addition, there are exercise stops for stretching and balancing.

Picnic areas and mile markers are provided as well as a children's playground and a dog park.

If one is interested in a more direct contact with nature, there are several nature hikes offered for Skillman Park visitors.

What we noticed on a nice Sunday was almost a complete lack of people. At 4 pm, we spent about an hour walking in a park and hardly met more than 2 people, which was great. No crowds that, more often than not, one can see in Mercer County Park, for example.

Really lovely park! Easy, flat, paved 2 mile loop but also areas to wander in the grass and a nature trail.
Only downside is that there is 1 porto in 1 parking lot. Make sure you "go" before you get there. Otherwise it's a nice addition to our walking areas list.

Very peaceful for a quick walk. There is a nice paved trail to walk along as well as a path along the creek which allows for some very pretty scenes
