Snap Fitness Medford

For the price ($35/mo), this gym is a good value. They have all the basic equipment (benches, squat racks, leg press, treadmills, rowing, ellipticals, etc.) and plenty of dumbbells. Depending on when you go, it can be crowded but I rarely have issues getting the machine/bench I need. The staff are nice but aren't always there at the advertised hours. Unfortunately, most of the equipment is very dated. The padding on the pendulum squat is falling off, the cable machine is janky, and some of the treadmills are really uncomfortable to walk on. There are like 5 different brands of plates, and the rubber ones leave a residue on your hands when you grab them. If you're just looking for a place to work out then this gym is great, but don't expect the quality or variety of machines you'll find at fancier gyms.

I have been going to Snap for 4 years and love it! The gym is clean and bright with well maintained equipment. I work with Sue Singer as my trainer and she is the best! Very motivational and encouraging both during the sessions and away from the gym in checking up with me through messages. I see Sue twice a week. I also try to get in alone and the atmosphere at the gym makes me feel comfortable in doing so. The fact that they are always open is a plus. A great gym!

Just started going to snap and I’m very happy with it. Great online system and easy 24/7 access. Shane at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Snap is the kind of place you can just show up, do your business, and be on your way! I wish they had a true locker room with showers, but it’s a small space and they do have a restroom and dedicated changing room.

Great gym. Friendly staff. 24 hour access even on holidays. Very clean and bright with a lot of equipment. Never crowded. The lowest price around. Mike the owner and Shane the manager are very helpful. Great trainers. I have been to many gyms in the last 30 years and this place is the best!!
