Sonic Suds Laundromat of Newton

We go to many different laundromats and this is the only one that the employees are mopping and cleaning at 9pm while giving dirty looks even though you have 2 more hours to be there. One of the times I was mopped around while standing next to the dryer while waiting to get clothes out. I guess she doesn’t realize that some people would sue them if they slip on the floor. One time the dryer took my money and she said she couldn’t do anything to resolve the issue. Another time one of the dryers weren’t working and she said there wasn’t anything she could do. These are two different employees that work there. Maybe the owner doesn’t like making money.

I've been coming here for the last few months and find that the laundromat is always clean and well maintained. The laundromat is big so even when it's busy, it doesn't feel crowded. Prices are comparable to other places.

Jo is always helpful and available to answer any questions and is super helpful.

Today was my first time at Sonic suds. It was pretty clean besides when I went to put my clothes in the dryer there were cigarette butts in it from someone being careless and not emptying their pockets. Other than that the lady was very helpful behind the counter because I didn't know I had to hold my card in front for it to start. I will definitely visit again.

I haven't been to Sonic suds in about a year and a half. I stopped going because of the rude evening staff and filthy floors.. God forbid if I dropped a sock I'd have to wash it all over again. However, I came across my old Sonic Suds plastic card and decided to give it another try.. , I was truly amazed tonight to walk into gleaming floors ! The place was spotless ! But the best part was being greeted by a lovely attendant named Karla.. She didn't just greet me. She welcomed me. I might add that the task of doing my laundry was actually enhanced by her presence.. so in conclusion.. I'll be back!
