Rather large expanse of land and trails, we've not yet explored as winter still has us in its grip, though some early birds are to be seen; we went there early in the season to explore the community garden, it looked to be a well-organized, productive place full of promise for those gardeners who don't have their own gardens.

It's a nice walk and at some point it'll be a forest again, but I think the Lenape tribe used to farm this area, so it was probably never a forest. If you dig you will find arrowheads and tools.

Wonderful land with an equally wonderful goal of revitalizing the south branch of the Raritan River. The efforts at this location include reforestation of a larger plot of land, engaging in farming and honey gathering, and providing a space for a community garden. The land has a trail for taking walks. The group is devoted to keeping the town and its people involved in the preserve and its activities. This location is one of the reasons I enjoy living in Budd Lake.

Community garden with short hiking trail. Cute little place worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great little park to take a stroll to view birds and butterflies. Bring a lunch but please carry out your trash
