The Acu Lounge

I started seeing Johanna a couple of months ago for a lingering shoulder issue (>6 months) that wasn’t responding to other treatments. After just a few acupuncture/firecupping sessions my shoulder was almost 100% back to baseline. In addition to treating my physical pain, Johanna has helped balance my nervous system and my cycle in ways that I didn’t know that I needed. No two sessions look the same as Johanna tailors each treatment to my specific needs for that day however, I always leave feeling rebalanced and restored. As a fellow healthcare professional, I am particular about who I allow to work on my body and I can confidently say that from day 1 I was impressed by Johanna’s knowledge about the body/energy, her professionalism, and her genuine desire to help my body heal.

I receive acupuncture from Johanna on a regular basis to assist with pain avoidance necessitated by arthritis and structural issues in my lower back. My M.D and N.D. both recommended acupuncture. I am pleased to report I have been largely pain-free for the last two and a half years.
