September 2025
We recently hosted our wedding at The Albion Summit Hotel, and we could not have asked for a more superb experience. We held two separate events—our welcome party and sangeet at the Whiskey Lounge and Theater, followed by our main celebration in the Grand Ballroom—and every moment was fabulously exceptional.
From the very beginning, the event specialists Deidre and Jennifer were incredibly attentive, accommodating, and available to us from start to finish. Their calm coordination and attention to detail made the entire planning process feel seamless. On the day of the event, our maître d’, Ms. Caruso was simply amazing—warm, approachable, and unbelievably helpful throughout the entire celebration. We felt genuinely cared for every step of the way.
The staff as a whole were wonderful, and our guests noticed it too. The food for our evening event was outstanding, and The Albion team worked beautifully with our outside caterer to provide an authentic South Indian banana leaf lunch—something deeply meaningful to us and a huge hit with our families.
The Whiskey Lounge made for the perfect welcome party venue, and the Theater was a fantastic setting for our sangeet performances—our guests loved the immersive experience. The Grand Ballroom was elegant and stunning, creating the dream backdrop for our big day.
We still recall fondly moments, and our friends and family cannot stop raving about the venue, food, and exceptional weekend at The Albion. The Albion Summit Hotel played a huge part in making one of our milestone occasions unforgettable. We confidently recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event.
The bar at the Albion Hotel is my new go to place for Happy Hour with girlfriends. The bar area is spacious, has elegant decor and a great atmosphere. The menu is perfect for sharing if you’re feeling peckish.
What makes this bar stand out are the staff! From the moment you arrive in the lobby you are greeted with warm smiles from either Thomas or Merab. Both are incredibly attentive and professional. Ask Merab to take a photograph of your group, he’s the best! The bartenders are also very friendly, Jon is especially knowledgeable and mixes a great cocktail.
If you’re looking for a place to unwind, where you’ll meet great people. This is the place!!
This was our 2nd event in the whiskey room. 1st was my surprise 40th and 2nd was my company holiday party. It's a unique venue with great staff and an unmatchable ambiance. Highly recommend you consider it for your next event. We used the private screening room to do a company video too. Fantastic time, good food, greats staff, and very organized from A-Z.
The whole team at The Albion really made our wedding dreams come to life - they are the absolute best and so much fun to work with. Deidre and Jennifer were kind and genuinely excited about every idea I brought to them during the planning process. Deidre, the manager, is so organized and thoughtful; from our very first tour, she made the entire timeline feel seamless. And as a type A bride, I had many questions lol
Our guests are still raving about the food, the venue itself, and about how much fun the day was - The Albion knows how to throw a banger!! The hotel is stunning and gave us the perfect non-traditional backdrop we were looking for. It was such a perk to have everything including ceremony, reception and after party all in the same location so no one had to worry about transportation, too.
Kevin, the maître d’, and the entire day-of team were so on top of every detail. They had all of our décor and personal items packed up neatly and exactly as they came in, which we appreciated so much.
And most memorably, Jennifer was right there for the most nerve wracking moment before we walked down the aisle — so calming, so supportive, and so clearly passionate about what she does.
Overall, our day was everything we wanted: the most special ceremony followed by the most lit dance party ever. We could not imagine a better venue or better people!!
Unfortunately, our recent two-night stay at the Albion Hotel was below expectations. While the guest room and bathroom were clean, several aspects of the stay detracted from the overall experience.
Upon arrival, we were not informed how to reach the front desk, and since there was no in-room telephone, I had to go down personally to request a bar of soap, of which there were none in the room. The room lacked basic amenities such as note paper and a pen, and although it was tidy, the furnishings were sparse and did not reflect the standard suggested by the property’s presentation.
Additionally, while the bathroom was clean, the door showed visible signs of wear — including chipped paint — and did not close properly.
In summary, the stay was adequate in cleanliness but underwhelming in comfort, amenities, and attention to detail. With improved communication, better in-room provisions, and some maintenance updates, the Albion could offer a much more satisfactory guest experience.
I hope this feedback is helpful and taken in the spirit intended — to assist management in enhancing future guests' comfort and overall experience.
PS: Except for a very, very good coffee machine, the breakfast offering was unacceptable. It offered a few poorly cooked pastries and fresh fruit salad, but it had some parsley-looking garnish. Yuck. There was no cereal and no toast. The cold breakfast variety at a motel is better, so I walked to a local diner.
