Man… this spot is exactly what the name says—The Little Place—but it hits like a heavyweight. Walk up and you’re greeted by yard art chaos in the best way possible. Rusted tin signs, garden gnomes, and this massive chicken holding court out front like it owns the joint. Inside? Cozy chaos—old school diner vibes met with the kind of warmth you only get when the staff actually give a damn.

I went straight for the Chili Cheese Dog—snap like a firecracker, chili dripping down your wrist, cheese melting into the bun like it was made to be there. Pure satisfaction. Exactly what you want when you’re chasing grease and comfort.

It’s the kind of place you stop for a quick bite and end up staying an hour just talking with whoever’s behind the counter. Right next door is what I call The Bunker, where you can grab yourself a cold Miller High Life and make an afternoon of it.

Stay greasy. Stay gold. This one’s a keeper.

I handed out five stars before I’d even taken my first bite.

Inside, everything glistens like it’s been polished by neat-freak fairies. Every countertop, every seat, every inch of floor looks so spotless you’ll momentarily wonder if you’ve accidentally wandered onto a cleaning-product commercial set. Not a single rogue crumb dares to linger.

Outside, the patio unfolds into a cozy, storybook scene. Chairs and tables nestle under gentle trees, creating a little sanctuary where the world’s noise fades into background ambiance. Here, a burger becomes a culinary meditation and a hot dog feels like a poetic sonnet—bring a book, or just your phone’s camera to prove you were in this charming, leafy oasis.

The menu reads like the deli equivalent of an epic novel, but even the most indecisive will find solace in these classics:

I love breakfast at this place! The staff is always kind and the service is top-notch. Their Western omelette is a favorite of mine, and the food is consistently delicious. Plus, the prices are fair. I've become a regular here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot!

I was told that it is no longer Grandma's, but now the Little Place. As of April 17. 2025, there is new ownership using the same menu. I was here specifically to try the Hot Dogs for Scary Good Eats. It looks and tasted like a Thumans. Plain Hot Dog was $4 even. It was a middle of the Road Hot Dog for NJ. Good fill your belly Weiner. I will be back to tray more of the menu.

The food is so delicious, been here twice and this has become my new brunch place!
