The Ocean View Inn

Our room smelled strongly of wet dogs, the air conditioner had visible mold growing in it, and the rug was really dirty. When we complained, they got us a can of febreze that was almost empty. That's the "service." The plus is that it is a block from the ocean with a free breakfast.

We were so happy with this original, affordable, and pet-friendly b&b! We loved having an apartment with separate rooms and lots of space for our dog. Also, this was the best b&b breakfast I've ever had. Will definitely be back when visiting Asbury Park and Ocean Grove. Thanks!

I can't say enough about our stay at the Ocean View Inn. The staff is "over the top" as far as accommodating their guests. The owner was absolutely amazing in his concern for our comfort. Effie took time to explain everything when we had an issue with our reservation. Any issue we had was resolved quickly. Our stay here in Ocean Grove was truly a little piece of heaven.

Great location, clean room, easy to check in. The room was small, but that was OK since we were there to hang out at the beach and in Asbury, not in the room. Overall I was satisfied. They use polyester sheets in the rooms, which I personally cannot stand, but maybe it's no big deal for you. Also, it was difficult to adjust the water temp in the shower, leading to a super hot shower, which for me is fine because I love that, but my husband not so much. Since we only stayed for a night, it was totally fine and the location and cleanliness were really the biggest assets.

Our stay at the Ocean View Inn was fabulous! My husband and I got the penthouse suite and it was so lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. It was cozy, private, and had a great view from the window. Also dog friendly, and the beach is basically right outside the door, with a lot of fun shops and great restaurants in walking distance.
