We had an great experience at Pascack Maternal Fetal Medicine. Lisa, the ultrasound tech was excellent—friendly, professional, and really took her time with us. Judy, the genetic counselor we spoke with after was just as great, explaining everything clearly and making sure all our questions were answered. The office itself is modern and comfortable, and we never felt rushed. Overall, we felt well taken care of.
During my pregnancy I was seen at MFM once a week. The staff was great and I always had a good experience with each person I interacted with. It was stress free which is amazing since we already had so much on our minds.
I had my first daughter at valley 2 years ago-and really liked the hospital, so I decided to go back there for my second pregnancy (I am currently 39 weeks). I was super bummed when I found out my new OB also uses the same MFM group as my last OB 🙄.
The ultrasound techs are wonderful, but what is so bothersome is that for literally years now, they know that they overbook and have CONSIDERABLE wait times, and have done nothing to rectify the issue. There has been 0 change from my last pregnant to this one: you will wait AT LEASE 20 minutes- if not more. I believe the longest I waited was closer to 40- it’s insane. The only way around this is to book the earliest appointments.
Also, make sure that when you do book the appointment, you’re happy with the date and time because to change it (unless you go in person) is literally impossible. You will call and no one will pick up the phone, and no one will call you back. It’s honestly bewildering.
If valley MFM did changes to their booking side alone, I think that they’d have a lot more patients who were happy with their experience. It’s wild to me that, given the reviews here, nothing has been done. Makes you wonder…..
