I was suffering from 8/10 chronic neck pain for years. Dr. Wheeler took one look at me and knew it right away. After 7 treatments I am 27 out of 30 days 1/10 pain and those 3 days maybe get to a 3/10. I will go to my grave praising Dr Wheeler. Hey Doc this is Donna Hurtle. I had the first relief from severe pain in over a year. Dr Wheeler restored my faith in the reality that I will, once again, enjoy a quality of life.
Dr Wheeler was highly recommended by my orthopedic doctor to treat excruciating sciatic pain. I was able to get an appointment as a new patient within Dr Wheeler’s next set of office hours. His receptionist immediately sent new patient paperwork and was kind and understanding of the pain I was experiencing. She was also helpful in keeping me comfortable during the treatment procedure. Dr Wheeler has a very reassuring bedside manner and explained his procedure and also acknowledged the immense pain I had been enduring. The treatment he offered was thankfully non-steroidal, much less painful than other injections I have received in the past and was immediately effective. The visit meant traveling a total of ~70 miles, which will be repeated each week. Would have no issue doubling the time and distance if it meant receiving the same care and deliverance from pain.
Dr Wheeler and his associate were attentive and compassionate as they took my wife in as soon as we walked in, early for our appointment, as she was in extreme pain. He has been able to quickly isolate and greatly reduce the pain from a migraine and we've begun to follow his preventative program as well.
Great staff and even better providers. I highly recommend Dr. Wheeler for treatment of chronic pain. Definitely thinks outside the box. He's also very friendly, entertaining and funny.
