Tony's Pasta House

Was in today and was great service all around it was quite but personable with our waitress Renee she was such a delight to have everyone go in and ask for her you won’t be sorry!! Food was amazing

I went in March 3rd 2025 for 2 slices to go. I get home and there is a nasty smell when i open the bag and all black plastic looking shiny charred pieces of black under the pizza on the plate and a few on top in the cheese. I'm not sure what ut was. It seemed plastic and was hard and shiny. Not like reg black char would be. I took a bite and it tasted grossly burnt and whatever it was. I don't frequent here and just came back to give another shot.
I have eaten/dined here in the past and no issues. I was told by a nice lady to speak to the manager. It was a spanish guy and i showed him the pictures and the bank charge. He told me sorry and looked at it and said it wasn't plastic. I said I'm just wanting to let you know incase it was something in the oven or a handle from something they use, whatever. He said there was nothing he could do and he would have to talk with his boss and next time i come in . Lol never asked me my name, number etc , or offered to give me 2 free pcs tonight.

Which I was more looking to make them aware so it doesn't happen again etc. I'm not going to go broke over $6, but it's the point..So him as a supposed manager he can't do anything ? Makes no sense to have a manager then. The waitress Christine who i saw in other reviews said well next time call or come in because from that long ago there's not much we can do. I thought to myself, Wait are you the manager or is the Spanish guy?? As a customer service manager at HomeDepot I wouldn't have treated the situation like they did.
They should have just offered me 2 free slices and I woulda just paid for my drink.. Myself I would have just offered the 2 slices and the drink which came to $8 and change..

Also Christine seemed irritated that she was carrying a large tray with about 6 entrées on it saying to the other waitress I needed help lifting etc. That she woulda dropped all the entrées with a snarky attitude. Maybe don't pick up a tray as big as you are then and bring out a smaller more manageable tray and make 2 trips.
The lady who helped me was polite and apologized and said she hopes this pizza is better this time and have a good night. She has better managerial skills then the supposed manager and Christine. Won't be coming back here. The pizza is average. And i can go to the many other places and support local businesses.. 👋 👋

I have been coming here for years. In the past few years, my husband and I have been going every Friday night. The specials are amazing. I’ve tried something new every week and have never been disappointed. The service is wonderful. Every week we visit Vinnie and she always remembers what we like. We look forward to seeing her and enjoying our meal every week. Go see Vinnie at Tony’s Pasta House for the best service & food in Ocean County!

Went in with a friend for lunch and have never been there before. We ordered a large pie to split. Oh my goodness, it was incredible. It was exactly how I liked it, thin crust crispy on the bottom, and the sauce was right on point. Christina was or severe, and she is the Best!!
